theguy556 Started reading jojo earlier this year, just about the start part 7 right now after this song. I'm hyped because I know it will be my favourite part even though I avoided spoilers for it
The fact that a song this good was written for a Japanese cologne commercial is crazy. I could legitimately imagine this being a huge hit in 70s America.
I've heard a really good theory that Mandom IS the main villain stand... for Gyro. Think about it. Up to his fight with Ringo, Gyro had the most screentime in SBR. The story focused on him, not Johnny. The Mandom fight was Gyro's last big solo battle and most important piece of character development, since he really hangs on to Ringo's idea of "the true man's world" after that fight. So it makes sense that Mandom would be a time manipulation stand, which is an ability Araki has always reserved for his main villain characters.
