@Gary Galland. It can have a better sound if he gets those mufflers nice and hot, and shoves a water hose up inside the mufflers and gives the insides of the glass packs a nice cold drink and shatters the insides of those mufflers, after that is done, then and only then he will get that rumble you referred to. By the way, I run glass packs on every vehicle I have ever owned. Just Love that deep throaty rumble from those duals. By the way in my opinion age has nothing to do with good sound, I am 67 years young. Nuff Said.

From a custom exhaust guy. It looked good but the hangers need to be turned in line with the pipe. When you accelerate the exhaust system slides backward slightly. The hangers need to move with the pipe. Just look at the factory hangers. With the hangers turned the wrong way they will snap in half in a few months. Took me a few years to figure out why I was fixing so many broken hangers. Lol

The Tri-Five Chevy you have is a 1956. The easy way to tell the '55 from the '56 is to look at the left rear quarter panel - if you don't see a door to the gas cap, it's a 1956. How does one put gas in the car you ask? Stand behind the left rear tail light assembly and look just above the tail light bulb, you'll see a small piece of metal just above the red lens. That piece of metal is actually a knob, turn it to the right and the whole assembly drops down to reveal the gas cap. So cool! Of course it's easy to tell a '57 from a '56 or a '55 because the '57 has those distinctive, pointy tail fins - equally cool!😃

I good friend of mine does commercial construction came over and threw all his 30 pieces of Dewalt tools in my dumpster and got these for his workers and loves them. I dug them out. fixed some batteries that would not charge and used them until I gave them to kids to have something to start with. My only complaint in life another than the political mess we are in is me leaving this world with 50 years of knowledge building stuff that I used to teach to fatherless kids yet today nobody wants to learn anything.

I have ran a lot of Cherry Bombs in my time, the way I eliminated the popping sound was by putting shorty baffles in the tail pipes, added just enough back pressure to kill the pop when you backed out of it. Nice job though, I had a 56' in high school, drove it to death.

While the car is a 56 the engine and chassis is not . And you just filmed yourselves cutting off and leaving off the catalytic converters and then posting it for the world and the epa to see . I highly suggest you put them back on before the exam comes after you or someone in your state sues you like what happened to the diesel Brothers. $10,000 to a million would be painful to lose .
