@@rileyclose7384 It actually is good quality, but the lack of a zoom feature brings the score down, and there was an issue with the white auto-balance where it would constantly adjust during meetings. The latest camera software release appeared to have resolved the issue

Thanks for the review, decided to purchase one just now after seeing it. I used to have a C920 a couple years ago, but someone broke it in a burglary attempt and I've been on the fence about getting a scalped webcam during coronatimes. I know this camera is all like...chinese and cheaper and such, but you showing the quality here made me go ahead and purchase anyways. Thanks for doing a good job, man.

@@impulseki9896 I think it is. Manual focus, the angle is wide open. takes a lot of my room. and its a surprice for me that the mic is stereo. I find very helpful the configuration software in order to have different presets. (I dont know why but I have to click "defaults" before loading my own presets)

1080p 60fps through usb 2.0? Sounds sketchy, these usually come with usb 3.0
When you were moving hands towards camera, rather than colour issue it’s more the proportion of size of hand I am trying to eliminate. I presume if camera was further away and could possibly zoom in. Would that eliminate giant hands when they get closer to cam? Thanks for any help.

Have you had any issues of the microphone picking up audio when not wanted? I can not get it to shut off. I want to use only my headset when playing games and streaming to twitch but all the guys says the audio is horrible from me becuase they are hearing my audio from my webcam.
Weird I use it too stream also I just mute the Webcam audio in obs
Thanks for the review. Although, it seems either it's just me or the video keeps flickering (going dark) when put to HD video @60 fps. Any fixes there? And yes, the anti-flicker(turning down to 50 fps) doesn't help.

Open broadcast software . It's free software that can be used to stream live to platforms like twitch, CZcams, Facebook. It can also be used to record whats going on on your computer like I did .pretty cool tool to have :)

Bro I bought that same camera and thought I got scammed I was only getting 60 fps when I all the lightning I could possibly get out of my room. I had no idea that the low light compensation setting was messing with the camera I was wondering why I wasn’t getting consistent 60 frames

Does changing the camera settings in OBS apply to everything? i wanna use this for discord/zoom
The obs setting is in obs alone . If you plan on using it for other applications like zoom you would need to apply the setting on an external app first. Once I get home I'll check what app we are using for my wife since she is using this for zoom as well . And ill let you know

@@destino3034 So this is what I use Its a software called Amcap though dont google it because most websites that carry it are bad instead we can go to www.nexipc.com/pages/support-and-download This is actually the website that Nexigo tells us to go to so its legit .click om Amcap for windows and once downloaded , extract the files with winrar or 7zip . there should be a .exe file named amcap v3.0.9 since its a .exe you dont need to install anything it just runs. What we do is , before using zoom for example , we launch this app once open we go to options , then video capture filter that opens the same menu as we see within obs under camera control uncheck the exposure box and you should be able to fix the exposure this way . also you can mess with your colors. then after that we close it and launch zoom. zoom actually keeps the settings we place on this app. I hope this helps .

Customer service told me they changed to a new chipset which removes the manual exposure control, only the older chipset devices still allow that ability. I have no idea why they did that

the camera has loads of noise and not really sharp but the 60fps is nice tho.
your first and big mistake is have not set the manual focus , wich is the most important feature in the cam. You have been almost all the video out of focus
Thanks, the Camera is not that good. a USD30 Nulaxy C900 will do the same video quality for sure. Better go for a more advanced camera or if you want to buy below 100 bucks, buy a Nulaxy C900

Terrible video. Too vague and the instructor was too fast and did not cover the whole environment including the equipment used. Often the sound was too slow.
I like to demonstrate the webcam step by step including software used. I recently purchase Nexigo 60fps 1080p. If you can make such videos I would love watching. Even one on disk would be wonderful. I would be willing to pay for the disk as long as the cost is reasonable
