Man At Arms: "We're going to forge Blade's sword out of titanium and this is going to be a very difficult task."
Blade: "Some motherfuckers always trying to ice skate uphill."
I came to the comments just to find this quote xD
All these requests but not a single comment about Iliya's flawless hand-drafting when he was mocking up the handle blade mechanism. With nothing but a straight edge. That man is literally a machine.
Nick Watson I agree , that was by far the most impressive thing I’ve seen any of them do! Ilya is to talented
Definitely he has to be this generation's best blacksmith if not Top 10 his work is flawless and beautifully made
Nick Watson actually he’s way better than a machine, Illya is multifaceted.
I'd sell my soul for that kind of precision tbh.
(Side note though, that straight edge is a saw blade? A jewelers saw blade sure, but it amuses me that that was probably easier to find than a ruler)
and not even like a high quality drafting ruler. Just an old hacksaw blade.
This guy is actually the forge in fire champion for making a Scottish shield and he did really surpass the best
That was my favorite episode
I watching forged in fire
What is number of season and episode
@@polishalastor142 Season 2 episode 4
I noticed him on Forged in fire from man at arm's. I knew he was going win
Sees title: Oh, this should be pretty straight forward, they'll probably not even mention the handle blades.
Them: Mentions they're making a full replica, including handle blades.
Dedication and attention to detail which I greatly respect.
I don't even remember seeing the handle blades, but I haven't watched the movie in years. Can't actually figure out how they would be used, if you're holding the handle, how can the blades come out?
@@christopherdean1326 in cannon, Blades sword has a DNA reader in the handle. Anyone who's DNA isn't in the swords "safe users" will have the blades eject out and cut them when they try and use it.
@@melindagreer4177 That's the comics. In the movies it's a simple spring trap
this is the main reson i subscribed to them they could have just used steel and ignored the pop out blades in the handle it would have looked just as cool but not ture to the sword they were trying to recreate they made it as close to the actual sword as they could and thats why they are awesome for me well done guys amazing job
Just a request from one of your fans.
It would be cool to see some kind of clock on the screen to show how many hours have you been working in the piece so we can acknowledge how much effort you put in every episode.
Also, I would like to see the virtuous (or any other) blade from Nier Automata... the katana and the heavy sword of course.
André Luiz Cosenza dude this most likely took them 2 or 3 days at max
Hellraiser988 it takes about a month
They address this in an AMA from way back.. they work on multiple projects at once and come back to it, and set it aside, and sometimes it can take months to make one of these videos since they also run a business.. so trying to keep track of time working on each one would be very tedious and they said they kept forgetting to turn the stopwatches on or off and it was just a mess. lol
I also wish we knew because most comments are people begging for swords, and very few about the actual work!
Edit: went to reddit but couldn't find the interview... sorry. You should watch the FAQ videos though, they posted a handful that answer some neat questions.
Could u please make deadpool swords
André Luiz Cosenza good idea!
"you're not immortal, must've heard hundreds of you rodents make the same claim, Each one has tasted the end of my sword."
"Perhaps I will too. But I think it is more likely, the next time meet, you will fall before mine."
Over a thousand vampires disliked this video.
There is about additional 400 now XD
Cool profile photo.
The blades in the handle are not accurate. It's supposed to be motorized. That would be the main reason for me.
Probably more than just over a thousand but great comment 🤣🤣🤣
"Some mfr's always tryna iceskate uphill"
(Sees Fairy Tail T-Shirt)
Ah Ilya, a man of fine tastes.
The Cavalier Panda Ilya is a man of culture
A man of culture indeed
Sees Ilyas fairy tail t shirt ah a fellow weeb
"Illya do you want me to buy a ruler??" "Nah ill just use a hacksaw blade"
EvilM0nkeyRules I noticed that too
That's why I love this show... It's not just make a sword, it's the real sword with right materials even it's more difficult. Congratulations
This is why I love man at arms, their courage is amazing and so strong they will NEVER give up on a challenge or build and will ALWAYS complete it which is one of the reasons I still watch them and love them ❤️❤️❤️
Wow, this is definatly my favorite build! Awesome craftsmanship guys. Plus, I always thought of this sword as a really beautiful one.
Dude those pop out blades wouldn't go through anything so lame, like 16th the force
ilya's fary tail shirt is awesome XD
Destiny(The Game) Exotic Swords, *Raze Lighter* , *Dark-Drinker* , *Bolt-Caster* .
DootDoot YES PLEASE!!!!
Quickstrike new Destiny 2 hunter katana please!

I love how ilya wears a fairytail t shirt... This just increased my love towards u a 100 fold🔥🔥
Matts grind work truly is pretty amazing. This piece is flawless in its detail.
Alexander Anderson bayonet swords from hellsing unlimited please!!!
Alexander Anderson...My name is Alexander Anderson...And there's a million things I haven't done...just you wait. Just you...wait...
Skana from Warframe
*ahem* Galatine Prime *ahem*
War/broken war ahem XD
Broken War would be really cool
Nikana is better looking.
Galatine would be great
The sword is so simple yet so hard to work on. I love the look of it. I gotta say my favorite build from u guys yet. Good job :)
one thing i really like about you guys is that you are informative without being boring, you have fun without being silly, and you illustrate how difficult some of this stuff is without becoming martyrs about it. makes for great content.
You missed such a chance to call this episode "Blade's Blade - Blade (Marvel)". Somehow this disappoints me.
Or "Blade's blade of blades.."... lmao
Make the most perfect, flawless, yet functional sword you guys can imagine. No restrictions. Let your imaginations run wild.
Classic nightmare client, very funny.
Christiaan Vromans they've made an Ulfberth already. Check it out.
Yes! Make a custom sword
There is no perfect sword desing
Blade one was one of the all time best vampire/super hero movies.
I'm about 11: 30' into this, also this being my 2nd 'how-to' and I MUST SAY all of you guys are ABSOLUTE PERFECTION CRAFTSMEN, I just am blown away by all of your experience and love watching you do your thing!! I think you should've 'BLUED' the main blade!!
Dagger of time from Pince of Persia
Aragorn Fils d'Arathorn i think man at arms original did that
Clay Loftis Uh, I don't think so
Better Lion sword and Eagle sword from Warrior Within))
Please make Rurouni Kenshin's deluxe sakabato reverse blade sword.
Ninja PLEASE DO THIS ONE
Ninja I have say the same for many time, haha!!
looks like a boring katana
ssuo ben you don't know how hard it is to forge a reverse blade sword. It's very different from a regular katana, the heat treat Is different, the grind is different, the forgeing is different. It's one of the most difficult blades to make.
but in the end what comes out is a boring old katana
Fun fact: the whole trilogy has almost nothing to do with Marvel. Marvel sold the rights to the Blade character, thus Marvel only got around 70k out of the millions it has made.
That sword was amazing! Big fan of blade! I say it's perfect! 👍👍👍
nightingale blade from Skyrim
Even better.... The super sledge from fallout new vegas
Celebrimbors hammer from Shadow of Mordor
This^
That's a beautiful piece, but where do you even find Mithril to work with?
Moria of course.
How about uruk hai armour from lord of the rings
The attention to details. The craftsmanship. And damn! Ilya's precision! And damn too many sanding belt was used. This just goes to show that these guys are literally professionals! Props to these guys! Awesome as always :)
The look of the sword is great. It's unfortunate the booby trap mechanism is half baked, but I can understand this from both an engineering and safety point of view. Good job!
Pls make Dawn the sword of house Dayne in Game of Thrones
It's 10 years anniversary of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, so how about making Simon's Core Drill?
10 years of PIERCING THE HEAVENS!
200% NOT PEDO,
Has it really been 10 years? O_O
Yes. TTGL aired in 2007.
200% NOT PEDO
Damn. •_•
The sparks coming off of that during grinding is cool as hell!!
Love how he used an old hacksaw blade as a straight edge.
Just like the typical electrical tape band-aid
WOW! That sword is incredible. Probably my favorite I have ever seen and ever will see. I love the videos and the amazing work and effort put into making these swords.
Raiden's sword from MGS4 or MGS:Revengence!
P. C. Oh yes it's awesome ! Please do that
PLS Raiden sword MGS4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's called High Frequency Blade, or H.F. Blade.
Today we build Blade's sword in the Man at Arms shop @Baltimore Knife and Sword
Marvel midnight suns ps4.
I have worked with titanium making a chefs knife. While it resists grinding with any high speed abrasive operation...it files easily. To reduce costs of belts, profile blade with a file and finish with belts. Job well done guys.I enjoyed the video.
kenshin (samurai x) reverse katana could be a good challenge...
I don't think it'd be any more challenging than the other katanas they've made. Nothing special about the sakabatō except that the bade is ground in on the spine rather than the face.
You guys should make Zar'roc from Eragon
and Bri'singer
Yes!! x2!
IF they do it better follow the book description. Not the travesty of a movie, which failed to even come close to the tragedy of a book.
LORD BURGEL you are absolutely right man! The movie was awful, indeed. The books, however, were really fantastic!
You might want to read my comment closer, I call the movie a _travesty_ of a _tragedy_ . The movie made a meh series even worse by ruining whatever good concepts that the books had to begin with.
Unless you're being sarcastic.
One of my favourites, thank you. 😁
I love your straightedge when drawing!! Use the closest thing to you. Hell ya
Definitely one of my favorite design. And I think it should be called the Daywalker's Sword
Kung lao's razor rimmed hat!
Even Universe 7's god of destruction wants that hat
@@maverick8094 He's not the only one
Calm down, beerus, you might destroy the universe with a weapon such as that.
YESSSSSSS
1:32 sounds like he’s explaining Vibranium 😂💯
Would love to see you guy's make the glaive from Krull. My fave fantasy weapon
Dude i loved thr glaive. Krull is one of my favorite films
Kurikara sword from BLUE EXORCIST
Thaddeus yes
They did Kurikara under the name "The Koma Sword".
Joshua Manriguez no they didn't. I just looked it up and didn't see anything remotely like it. In fact the first thing that popped up was the Kuromukuro katana.
burned through so many grinder belts they needed to get a sponsor lmao
Cassie Conway My thoughts exactly
Im speechless. I love all the work i have seen
I love how Ilya's using a saw blade as a straight edge.
Rurouni Kenshin reverse blade sword (katana). Really curious to see how the hardening process will work on a katana that's edge is on the opposite side.
Shoemyster1 i have asked twice
same as a normal one, you just work with an inverted curve on the edge rather then the normal curve of the weeb-tana.. i mean katana
same as a normal one, you just work with an inverted curve on the edge rather then the normal curve of the weeb-tana.. i mean katana
osmacar are you forgething the diferential temple? It makes the normal edge harder than the shinogiji (baldes flat) so thats what makes this sword unique, plus when the curved shape comes from that step
Yes we need to see this one made
The Dagger of Time from the Prince of Persia games.
2Peache you're da real mvp
Geralt should be proud ! His deal is living in this century!
Props to all that fine craftsmanship
9:50 is that a Fairy Tail shirt?! awesome
I thought I was the only one who noticed XD
Earlier in the series, they built Erza's Sword & Armor! It's a must watch!
I was going to say that to😁😁 love fairy tail
he also has other shirts like Ouran Highschool Host club shirt. think he like Anime?
Reverse blade sword from Kenshin hemora
Richard Clemons who's that guy?
joe junior you're too young probably to remember, but it was a show that use to come on toonami, back in the 90s. It was called kenshin. You should look it up :)
I watched the samurai sword x during the war and seen every episode as the wandering swords man ruroni Kenshin is on Netflix by the way
Richard Clemons same! I was obsessed with it, during its run..!
Great build!
Don't get me wrong, what they have done was awesome. But they are missing a couple of things.
1. the blade is coated in silver.
2. the handle blade mechanism isn't manually activated. It activates when someone grabs the sword. When the "key" rotates to the right position, then blade pushes it into a locking position PREVENTING the blades from popping out. It's a defense mechanism.
Kenshin's reverse blade sword
God's warrior in the rain I think they did that already.
I do not recal Alec, could you send the video link?
It's a reverse edged katana, nothing too out of ordinary
I dare say there are few things more "out of the ordinary" than a reverse sword
I understand that a reverse blade sword seems boring but it is an anime classic weapon just like Inuyasha's sword or Ichigo's sword. I have been wanting to see this built since before "Reforged." I also think that Ilya would also enjoy another katana build.
Wings of entropy from Path of Exile would be a really difficult thing to replicate. Any Path of exile weapons would be cool :D
bolg's spiked battle mace and/or aragons dagger he got from the elves ....love that knife.
Blade's sword forge from Titanium in the fresh 😁. Enjoy seeing white spark during the grinding process as well as hits on hot metal for edge of Blade sword here ^o^. This is one of my favourite episode to enjoyed. Awesome video from AWE ME 👍.
Randy Cunningham's Ninja sword.
Prince Zuko's twin-swords.
Samurai jacks sword
Ali Gökmen Yüksel That's just a normal katana
Nah, you gotta give it cartoony shape.
Said Katana is enchanted.
"A Samurai warrior, wielding a magic sword, stepped forth to oppose me."-Aku
That would be too easy cause it’s nothing special.
The katana is enchanted with pure righteousness from the soul essence of Jack's father.
Great craftsmanship as usual! Always wanted to have an operational sword like blades, total bada$$!!... but you guys forgot the (corrosive) acid laced edge!! Lol!
You guys are truly amazing!
INIGO MONTOYA'S SWORD
Yes
Could you please make Rurouni Kenshins Sakabato
Hello MAN AT ARMS, well it's a very good sword and it seems that it takes a lot to forge welll the titanium and the sword is from titanium. You give it some shine and polish it and you put the mechanism so it can bring out the 4 edges of the hilt. It's a very good job and in 4K, a hug and a greeting.
my new favorite channel!
Please forge Death's scythes for Darksiders 2
This^
It would be cool to see how they make the hinges.
Peter's Sword Rhindon from the Chronicles of Narnia.
Great video by the way Man at Arms: Reforged
All the sword you guys made are awesomeeeeee, I really want one of them for me, I think the Elucidator 😅😂😂😂
Could you guys do Altaïrs hidden blade and gauntlet because that looks like a difficult build
Already did
I got one for Illya; Kanshou and Bakuya from Fate/stay Night
Zuko's dual broad swords
Great job guys
Amazing work!
Raidens high frequency blade from Metal gear rising
Been asking for the HF blade since they started with Reforged.
I want to see it too...
This.
with functional HF pls
YES!
please make the mulan's sword and the shan yu's sword ! :)
Antoine Miettaux yes do it
Mulan's sword is basically a regular Chinese jian. Shan yu's sword is a straight edge kris sword.
I really wanna see some more "historical" weapons. Honestly the anime stuff getting old
I think this is my favourite build they did. It's amazing. Big Marvel fan too.
Owh no That's my favorite Movie ... 😍😍😍😍😍
Castlevania the Alucard Sword
Now make a Tungsten Carbide sword.
You should be done grinding by next year.
Dread, the Mad Smith Haha yes! :D
Dread, the Mad Smith With an antimatter handle to increase cost, impracticality and the fact that it can blow up a city when it touches anything.
My wedding ring is made of tungsten carbide. I've actually broken things with it on accident just because I forget that you can be at weenie hut jr and still break something with tungsten carbide.
Tungsten Carbide is not hard to grind
There's little malleability with Tungsten Carbide. XD It'd probably end up being as useful as a glass sword.
But, then again, I'm thinking too practical.
Great films, hyped for the new film that is coming.
keep up the great work i would have loved to see it with a longer blade
Ilya wearing a Fairy Tail shirt! :D
GlobBlubb
GlobBlubb again*
GlobBlubb u also noticed that?
GlobBlubb 👆
Can you make the sakabato (reverse blade sword) from Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X?
Nikk Calhoun Dude it's phenomenal! I guess it sort of depends on what you're into and it definitely has its ups and downs but it's seriously good! It's a weird blend of super historical with some fantasy tropes thrown in but it works fantastically! The original series is quite long in comparison to most modern anime and the first few episodes can be a bit slow but when it heats up it's really fantastic. Like I said though it does have a few things that people criticize but I feel that most of them are subjective and almost all of them are focused in the first chunk of the series. At times it can feel very cliche or predictable. As I mentioned the first however many episodes can also drag a little bit. They're by no means 'bad' but in comparison to the rest of the series they're definitely sub par. If I had to really sum it up it would look something like this.
Pros:
-Lovable characters
-Super interesting setting
-An utterly perfect conclusion
-Beautiful soundtrack
Cons
-Some cliched storylines
-A slow start
I know I didn't get too in depth about it, but I hope it gives you an idea of what it's like. Anyhow I definitely recommend you check it out! Give it a few episodes and see what you think!
Also, as a final note, I've heard that the sub is the best way to watch it but I personally watched the dub and thought it was pretty great so I can't say for sure!
Лучший клинок который я когдато либо видел, super!
You guys are THE BEST! Now please do Ivy's sword from SOUL CALIBUR.
Do the Infinity Blade!
Man, despite those advantages, that titanium is toxic to work with and doesn't harden as much as steel outweighs what benefits it brings.
Nevertheless, another terrific job, BK&S!
Nice craft and skills.
I saw some of your pre cuts.
I recommend bringing on guest martial artists for each different build to really showcase what the blades can do.
Wesley Snipes is awesome.
So... How about Grey Fox' or Raiden's Blade?
OR Deadpools blades.
Deadpool's blade basically katana
Duskbringer maybe… Deadpool?
well i come across this channel while watching forged in fire to be fair im impressed
Just one thing about the spikes/blades that come out of the handle if the sword is used by anyone other than Blade himself: In the film they push in and out of the handle, as though they were on a sort of rack (they don't just pop out like umbrella spokes). Still an incredible weapon nonetheless.
