- What's good CZcams?!? In this video we'll unbox and review the Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds. I jumped on these as soon as I saw they were released!! Great and very detailed review even more so than other reviews with fancier video production and graphics. I got these and I agree and I love them for listening to R&B and Hip-Hop. The bass is great for me.

Im a Bose fan and I appreciate your honesty. I can definitely understand its not worth the price. For me, it is because of the superior noise cancelling. I feel like none can come close. So ill definitely tive these a buy.
I probably would5 recommend them unless aomeone really likes ANC like me.
Their ANC is the best in the business, no question. Especially now with that Immersion feature. I love ANC too, but I want to be able to use these when I'm at work. I appreciate your honesty as well. Thanks for the support.
Really thorough review! I have the QC2s and found that if I connect outside of the app, I have no connection or sound issues. I just take them out of the case, put them in my ears and they work great. Once connected I can go into the app to adjust mode or eq w no problems. You should be able to use the connect function in the app though…otherwise what’s the point of having it?
I ordered the Ultras because I love spatial audio and I’m interested in hearing how Bose does it.
I agree that no multipoint is a big miss at this price point. It should be standard at $300. I don’t miss wireless charging, but I get why others would.
I really enjoy the sound though! Smooth, balanced and clear. Fix the app, add multipoint and wireless charging and Bose would have a home run. Seems like they stopped short of a home run when the issues should be solvable. Like someone at Bose said…”Lets just aim for 2nd or 3rd place.”
Agreed! It's a shame that they continue to do this. Hopefully a firmware update with multipoint will come out soon.
Hello is app problem is also on ultra earbud or connection issues ?? Like it was in qc 2 buds
I haven't had any connection issues. Just when using the sound settings in the app.
im gonna wait for the ultra 2 with multipoint and wireless charging hopefully
I love these. I bought the 2 last week not knowing these were coming out so i upgraded to these and got the white. They are much more comfortable out of the box than the 2, the noise cancellation is much better with the immersion mode and i dont have any connection issues. Would wireless charging be cool, yes but idrc and multipoint only works well on airpods with apple devices so im ok with not having it. It doesnt work on sony or Samsung for me because they switch to other devices when i dont need it. Just extremely frustrating. I feel this is worth it if your main concern is noise cancellation so its a win for me.

The Bose just feel the best in the ear and sound really good. Maybe multipoint connection comes in the future with a software update?
They are very comfortable. And the sound has gotten better with the Hi-Res codec. Hopefully they will release a multipoint firmware update soon.

I just got these. They are amazing, but i have 1 problem. The voice assistant sound feedback, its so low. I press the right earbud to turn on the voice assistant on to make a call but i barely hear the sound. Cant even tell if I activated the voice assistant. Can you please tell me if you are experiencing low sound feedback when you activated voice assistant. Thank you
I haven't experienced that. But I have experience distortion when using the app with the earbuds.
How do these sound agaisnt the sennheiser mm3 or the xm5...if you can buy 1 which one would you go for?...manu thanks..

I've found that the left earbud on the quietcomfort ultra tends to give me a faint buzzing sound while anc is on. It's really noticeable when you're in a quiet environment with no audio playing. Sometimes, you can even hear the hardware running in the background. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I haven't. But will surely pay closer attention to that.

Could you please help me with my decision regarding Bose Earbuds Ultra, Denon Perl Pro, Az80, and JABRA Evolve 65..(o maybe you can suggest other ones).
My Top priorities are Phone Calls/MIC, in the GYM, and Quality in noise environments/windy as well. Even more important, they should work without issues. Thanks in advance :)

No, you cannot.
Could you try any track by Bass 305. I suggest “20hz test” and let us know which is best please? This will test the ear seal, the sound quality and the bass response. If your still alive please try their track “Left-Right test”. It will show any poor performance frequency issues from ultra sub low to dog worryingly high.

I've tried a few buds now from the Nothing Ear 2's to the technics az80's to the beoplay ex, and so far, none of them have been the ones for me.
I really want to give the qc ultras because a try but i'm hesitatant because of all the information online about these having issues with connectivity, music being out of sync between the left and right buds, hissing in either earbud etc.
Ron, would you say that you have experienced these issues with the qc ultras.
Would you recommend these ?
I did experience the hissing issue, but that was cleared up with their latest update. I would recommend them. But if they're not for you, you can always return them.
@ronontech Thanks for your help, Ron. Right now, I'm deciding between the qc ultras and the sennheiser TW4's.
Which would you say are more comfortable out of the two ?
The TW4's seem like they are similar in size to the AZ80's. I had to return the AZ80's because I found them to be uncomfortable and unstable in my ear. Do the TW4'S have a similar fit and feel to the AZ80's when in the ear ?

I talked with Samsung customer care about aptx adaptive snapdragon sound & they said one ui 6 will add support for it on s23u. I run their beta but really wish you can test that with your s23u & bose ultra. Beta is great too.
I will try to include that in the future.
Great job on the review. I would get these if they were $180 to $220, maybe $250. They definitely don't have enough features to make them worth $300, at least not to me

Just to add the Bose ultra are really something else especially the new immersion mode.
I agree. That Immersive Mode is a game changer for them.
Love my Bose QC Ultras but for the price they should have had wireless charging with them. I still have my original Bose QCs and they came with wireless charging and I used that all the time. And because I have large ear holes the largest tip was still too small for me so I had to order the alternate sizing kit that comes with extra small and extra large wings and tips to accommodate my ear configuration. My original QCs had ear tips that worked perfect for me. Otherwise these earbuds are awesome!
I got these when they went down to £219 and with student discount it came to £194...I don't feel cheated in terms of price!
Is 2023 and no multi connection? No wireless is ok but multi connections is a must..

Call quality is horrible! From what I heard on the video , I'm on Sony wf1000xm5 and wanted to try these bc of comfort and fit but if can't take a phone call after spending 300 it doesn't make sense !

They could give us multipoint in a firmware update. For $300? I sprung for them and i love them. Btw another reviewer bashed them for 15% too much bass. They arent worth the price for sure. Battery life is pretty sad. I got them in moonstone blue and i do love them anyway.
I totally agree about the multipoint. They're saying it is coming in a future firmware update. We will see...

How to know the percentage of charge on case?
The LED light on the front. When you open the lid, it will give you a light indicating the battery strength of the case. My guess is White = High, Amber = Medium, Red = Low.

This feels like a sneaky cash grab. I haven't seen more than a handful of reviews for this where normally companies would be handing these out to all the tech influencers to review. The fact that they haven't done that means that there is something definitely wrong with these earbuds. While the noise canceling might still be top tier. Is it really that much of an improvement over the previous model? This release feels shady as hell
I have a black and white too and yes the noise cancelation is way better then the previous version and also the bass it’s a little bit more punch and the mics a better all around I do recommend this ultra and the immersion is top notch
@@jorgecorona123 I had it on preorder, but the lack of coverage, along with the shady wireless charging sleeve, has made me think I'll stick to my XM4, which still have god-tier noise cancelling.

I got distortion from the earbuds when using them with app. It's the wierdest thing.
The App is absolute shit though. Mine don't always connect when you pop in...
I did experience connection issues with the Ultra after the review. I haven't experienced it in a while now.

The only reason to buy QC series is for the noise cancelling, and if the QC2 are still God tier, then there is no reason to buy these. We all know we should be going elsewhere if we're looking for sound quality and transparency.

I mean.... How hard is it to put a damn charging cable into the case? Or how hard is it to connect to a new device? How lazy would you be? 😆 You cannot underrate a product which really delivers top notch quality in every other department just because of things that can be fixed the other way. I don't see the problem.. I've 2 hands to fix the so called "issues".
Not that damn hard at all! But if you're going to charge top dollar for your product, you should provide all the functions that others in your price bracket do. Hell, they took wireless charging away which was on the original QuietComfort earbuds. It's about bang for the buck. Bottom line. I praise all that is good about them, but I'm not going to let the bad stuff slide to please anyone.

If you gonna throw 300 dollars onto something you better watch "too long" video otherwise don't watch anything. It's not 150 bucks man. I 100% understand your too long problem but not if something is this expensive. & use timestamps as he said. That's better than 99% of others. & best use 2x speed then it's just 23mins. That's what I do.

Terrible in ears. I returned them the very next day. A million connection issues. Subpar sound. After awhile they even started to hurt. Not at all cool for the gym. I kept adjusting them. Nah I couldn't keep them. The price didn't even matter. I exchanged them for the Beats pro fit. As expected everything all around is perfect. Bose, is just the name. Forget this video. These all the way suck. Best quality sound and call audio is The Beats Fit Pro. You will be passed believe me. Imagine paying three hundred bucks for these and you can barely even pair them.
