It may not have any weird time signatures, but it's still a weird song, mostly because it's so dissonant, and that made it hard to work with. Even so, I didn't really know what else to do with it, except add in copious chiptune elements.
It's a gamer's theme, after all... even though this gamer's got a PSP knock-off, which is hardly as retro as, say, a Sega Master System.

Have to say, even if Emergency Everyday never came to be, Daijin's design was still pretty great all things considered. Then again, Tsubakura's heavily takes inspiration from it, so it's not entirely lost.

Emergency Everyday is not "official" in len'en, this game was made by Daijin, and he gave the len'en series to Jynx, and change the history, but in order to change the history and etc, Jynx was told to continue with the same name
Well... In BPoHC, Jynx updated the kanji on Len'en, but its the same concept
P.s. and also, Emergency Everyday shows Reimu and Marisa as bosses on stage 2, because Daijin stated that the game is an Touhou Game like but with male characters
