Really nice video. Really glad u made this for the folks who have just got into this fpv drone. Totally agree with you on the safety features and I also like the home icon when flying. I'm still on sports mode and have started flying closer to the ground while I'm flying manual mode in the sim. Waiting for your next video 👍
Normal FPV quads can be set up with GPS failsafe, and many pre built quads today come with gps sensors allready installed. which will indeed make them fly back if you loose signal, or activate it with a switch. It is not in anyway as reliable as the DJI drone, and you will need to take control back to land it.
@@KurtisandChelsey I know. I fly normal quads, but I just got the DJI HD googles, and it is freakin amazing compared to analog that Im used to. And I sorta wished that I had saved up to get the drone as well, as it seems to fit my exploring and cruising flying style very well, especially after watching this vid, with the added GPS security DJI offers.
If you use the motion controller you can get the ascend and descend “look” you’re trying to achieve in sports mode because the camera tracks the direction that you point the controller.

@@stevencarey5407 Is this just moving the camera gimble up and down? If yes then could do same with the scroll wheel on the RC. Crazy how hard it is to find out what a dji drone actually does, wish there was some detailed explanation of what each setting does and doesn't do.

Second question; do you see 3D through Goggles? And finally, I wonder how it is possible to make a drone fly in one direction and a drone camera point in the opposite direction? Or does the drone turn so fast (but then how does it continue to fly in the opposite direction)? I don't understand that ... P.S. New friend here and like 246 P.S.2: is it possible to move left and right in normal mode so that the horizon is aligned?
Yes, flying in N mode is the same as flying with the stable mavic series. The camera is just giving you a FPV feeling while turning, which you also can program for example on mini 2 through settings.
Been flying a Mavic Pro since 2018. The FPV is a totally difference experience since I ha e never flown FPV. 10 battery packs in and just went into Sport Mode.

I do not understand; if it loses the signal, does the drone not automatically return to its home location? I have a DJI Mini 2, and when it loses the signal, it starts automatically returning to the starting location. Please answer these questions, they are quite important to me. Thank you very much!

Yes that’s true. It works to some degree but not like this! This one is pretty amazing haha

In your goggles, there is a setting to crop them out! Or you can always crop in a slight bit in post

Do you use image roll correction in sports mode?
No i prefer to keep the roll in, it will make you be more aware of your sticks and help you get into manual mode!
