- Part 5 of my crash damaged Porsche Carrera gts rebuild! In this video I fit the final piece of the jigsaw before i drop it off at the paint shop! Let me know what you think!

Hello mate hope you’re ok 👍, you should have used a block of wood and done it from the middle making your way out to either end, and then used different sizes to help get into the corners to squared it up a little bit better, but it looks ok 👍

If you de-rivet the tub front panel (and floor if it is bent) they are very easy to straighten - the metal is very thin. When they are riveted together it is difficult to get a decent finish. I suspect the lower crash bar on a GT3 is a different part number. There is a video of Arthur Tussik repairing the front tub of a 991 GT3 RS
That bumper is a gt3rs bumper which is wider that the gt3 bumper as the wings on the rs over the gt3 are wider also with the side blade but when removing the side blade .your left with holes . Also the hubs are not as wide as the hubs on the gt3 rs and you can't buy wheel spacer with centre locks
If he uses the GT3 trim, he might get away with that bumper. The RS markers are different with 3 hooks not 2. That would be something else to consider if he can use the GT3 arch and splitter.
Something janky like silicone to hold the none RS part to the bumper.
To space the wheels out you will need to use adjustable upper and lower arms. You cant get spacers for center locks.
Shame you didnt get the GT3 wings
so exciting to watch. Love that your family gets involved too. The GT bumper looks super cool on it. Are you going to get a wing as well?

How about removing the wider bumper trim and getting the bodyshop to fill and paint the mounting holes? I think that would cause you the least headache.

Your journey. I'd keep it simple and stick with GTS parts.

Now you gotta add the GT3 wing at the back and the car will be mean 🔥
This Is the goal but need to keep an eye on the spends!
