Slope Soaring Gliders on Mickeys | Valenta SB9 crash!

Not a bad day's slope flying on Mickeys slope at The Bwlch in S. Wales. Good thermals but awful sink. Watch how Nick's Valenta SB9 got caught in sink and watch what happens

Hanging on the elevator, tip stall.

After the tip stall over the valley, I think there was a bit of pilot nerves getting it back to the slope, but glad it lives to fly another day.

Too low, it's not a problem. But too slow to fly with tail wind at final it is huge problem. Pure dynamic stall. Hmmm... only sheep jump high 13:00.
