After seeing how everything shook out, he now admits to things he didn't dare admit to back then, about how JLo was demonized by racists. He expresses his anger about it so forthrightly now that it seems like he is trying to make up for not having stood by her when all the madness was being thrown at her back then. Even after they broke up and he was married to Jennifer Garner, Ben would still compliment JLo whenever media people would question him about her.

Jennifer Garner only found Ben Affleck attractive after his relationship with JLo caught media fire. I think Garner saw snagging him away from JLo as a challenge she could not refuse. Ben was a weak male and allowed Garner to jack up a relationship I believe he really wanted. But he could never admit that publicly now. He is content to blame all the media, which is a total farce. His friend Matt Damon didn't like the relationship because it really did give Ben a kind of star power in the stratosphere that even Matt had not experienced with his exceptional acting credits. So, Ben dumped the Latina for a more palatable and acceptable WASP to relieve peer pressure. JLo and Ben seemed to be genuinely in love and I hate that Garner had to interject herself into their relationship.

It is not true that Garner looks older than JLo without make-up. JLo wears a wig (big hair takes the attention away from your face) and Garner does not wear a wig. JLo wears fake lashes, Garner does not. Fake lashes make a 100% difference in your face. Try them some time and you’ll know what I mean. And JLo has the best professional make-up artists and wears heavy make-up. Make-up changes any woman to a Cinderella. Add to that the good lighting JLo demands. Also JLo photoshops and airbrushes her photo’s.
You are right. JLo without her wig, without her fake lashes, without the heavy make-up, without the flattering lighting JLo all natural doesn’t look better than Garner natural. I’m not a fan of either woman, but JLo doesn’t seem as funny or fun to be around with as Garner. fortunately there are couples in Hollywood who are great and long happy together, but yeah, its rare. For example Hugh Jackman&his wife or Christian Bale with Sibi - 17 yrs together and counting& they are very down to earth.
