    Translation.
    Hello, Kurumada-san.
    First of all, thank you for sending me that photo. I was in the photo together with you and the first Shinwakai fellows but when I showed it to the guys in the neighbourhood they were excited saying "This is great! This is great!!"... Even when I signed it, those guys weren't very impressed with me... Now I show it to the girls and say "How's this! I met Mr Kurumada many times!!" I brag: "Well? do you see this photo!!" I kind of want them to be jealous and, while we're at it, earn a little respect.
    Until about 1 year before I began the 'Dr Slump' series, I simply didn't read manga. ...And every week when I got my Shounen Jump, I asked the chief editor: "What's popular?" And he'd say: "Let's see, by far it's 'Ring ni Kakero'." And now 'Fuuma no Kojiro' is at the top! Kurumada-san is amazing.
    Anyway, with all this really masculine shounen content, I just want to send all the recent soft manga (sometimes I also call it that) flying with a "Galactica Magnum" of overwhelmingly great impact. I'd like to mimic that, to draw like that, but it's very hard and I don't have a tenth of that intensity. Then I think, okay, let's introduce a character as reckless as Kenzaki, but it's very difficult for me; by no means, I can't draw it.
    Mr Kurumada, please continue to draw manly manga in the future.

      And also many people believe that dragon ball started this whole “battle shonen crave” while Ring ni kakero came out and did this seven years before the original Dragon Ball and even then Dragon Ball didn’t get all that serious until much later in the story. I look at ring ni kakero As the equivalent of blade that being marvels very first successful movie that kickstart it all the marvel movies after. Both overlooks staples.

    I don't know why the whole world considers Dragon Ball the godfather of today's anime and so on, although Kurumada's works was a pioneer in this field and Toriyama was inspired by ideas from Kurumada..Saint Seiya was a new phenomenon that happened in the eighties and she changed the composition of Dragon Ball to what it is Now that Kurumada's thoughts are clear in Dragon Ball ... You do realize Dragon Ball predates Saint Seiya right? And pretty much every shonen after Dragon Ball has taken influence from it. The fights in Saint Seiya and Dragon Ball aren't even similar either.

    • @hiccupphantom9475
      @hiccupphantom9475 Před 7 měsíci

      Yes,the styles in Dragon Ball were based on martial arts on the planet Earth, while the world of Saint Seiya was very wide and multi-technical. I say that this was Kurumada's fashion since the seventies, that is, before Saint Seiya and Dragon Ball, while Toriyama's manga was not a fighting manga...In Saint Seiya, you can find many styles of manipulating dimensions, space, nature, and illusion... all influenced by Kurumada and Dragon Ball. It was based on physical methods and energy lifting. This is very similar to the boxing manga Ring Ni Kakeru, but Ring Ni Kakeru is limited to just one ring, and even some moves. Drawn Ball Z was present in Saint, such as the armor color-changing move, Seventh Sense, which is similar to Super Saiyan One and Two, and the Ultra Instinct move, which is very similar to God's Cloth. Even the God Element and the expansion of the Dragon Ball Saint Seiya universe were preceded by this The movement, and if Saint Seiya had been translated into English like Dragon Ball, there would have been another opinion. Do you realize this??? ...@@froger9973

      I want you to compare Drawn Ball when he was young and Kou to Saint Seiya, and as I said before, Saint Seiya.
      It was not translated into English until 2003, which is why it was not very popular and was subject to great censorship for child viewers@@froger9973

      Haha ..No man, Kurumada is the founder of the modern shounen era. He was good at fighting manga because he was an athlete, while Toriyama didn't know this genre, and Saint Seiya was also the creator of Dragon Ball Z. Didn't you notice that Dragon Ball was just a Chinese martial arts story set on an arena? And somewhat similar to Kinkuman in everything, while Saint Seiya was at another level of strength and her characters had styles and movements that were not found in Dragon Ball, but Saint Seiya's ideas were clearly present in Dragon Ball Z, the scenarios of transformation into Super Saiyan, the movement of Goku and the scenario of the Lords of Destruction All of these were in Saint Seiya before that.

      @@jesusdonado Second, I see that today's anime is emulating Saint Seiya and not Dragon Ball.. because Dragon Ball is just screaming and changing hair color to gain strength. There is nothing else, although all this was actually a scenario in Saint Seiya.. but Saint Seiya was distinguished by the philosophy of Cosmo and each embodied character has its own strength field and its own techniques... For example, there is a Shaka who has imaginary and illusion movements and so on . We've seen it appear in Naruto quite clearly.. We've seen in One Piece, Naruto and all the anime today that there are characters that manipulate items etc and Saint Seiya has such skills so all of this happened in Saint Seiya while Goku was wrestling on a small arena and it was limited Strength, Saint Seiya embodied 90% of this present anime. This is just Saint Seiya, and I'm not talking about Ring-ni Kakeru or Fuma no Kojiro.. Many consider Mr. Kurumada to be the modern-day Tezuka.

Then characters like Kami Tenshi and others came to the scene... despite the studio's toei distortion of Saint Seiya films and the television distortion of Saint Seiya She would have been the number one... It's an undisputed masterpiece. All anime fans and Dragon Ball ignore this bitter truth. Haha, they don't know Saint Seiya, for example in the Arab world. Saint Seiya was never presented to them, but Dragon Ball offered these are the reasons that distorted Saint Seiya
