My mochii Rhythmic gymnstics clubs are strict about weight because it effects flexibility capacity. But i also couldnt understand why they called her not beautiful enough

Thanks for making this video about an incredible woman. She was my first love in RG and attracted me to it when I first saw her in Sydney 2000. However, I personally think that the Putin part is inappropriate as the official Olympic channel should not speculate on such things. Instead, you could've focused on her involvement with the state Duma or her business career.
While you are at it, please do one for Kanaeva, as hers seem like a cinderella story.

Why should they mention it? For what purpose? It's pure speculation and belong in trashy gossip columns, not on an official channel. It's also her private life. She has achieved more incredible things herself and has contributed so much to the sport which should rightly be the focus of attention.

Nobody told this. She was told by the coach Irina Viner that she had been overweigted at that time as for gymnastics. Viner always told that Alina was beautiful and had a very nice smile. The info in the video is not correct

I know it looks absurd when you look at her petite, almost anorexic body here but Kabaeva always had weight issues. Still has.
Wasn't that the reason why she came to Moscow because the coaches in Uzbekistan didn't like her physique? But judging from the shape of her face and body, she has the body-type that can gain a ton of weight after eating a bowl of spaghetti.
Yes and yes. She has an unfortunate body type. Imagine the starvation she had to go through in order to get thin as she was in this video. There is that urban legend about when Viner had Alina only drinking water for three days so that she'd lose weight and stay in Novogorsk...
Was that an urban legend? I read that Viner threatened to buy 2 tickets back to Tashkent for Alina and her mom Lioubov but mommy dearest told Viner to buy just one, for Alina. How savage!

As for dear Irina's first impressions of Kabaeva, i remember Reading that it was just the other way around - she was enchanted with Alina's skills at first sight, not just her unmatched flexibility but also her ability to jump real high and honestly, in her prime-time Alina's leaps were just as astounding as her flexibility

Kabaeva has had a very interesting life since her Olympic Career ended, being with Vladimir Putin and supposedly having two of his children, totally unreal, and this woman is from The 2004 Athens Olympics, wow how times have changed not just for her, but for her Country as well!

This is misogynist, throwing dirt on women's achievements. You made this "Superstars" series because these athletes accomplished greater things afterwards and changed sport history. The press romantically linked Alina to boyfriends when she was in her late teens and early twenties. I think there was a musician and a police officer, so I don't think she became involved with Putin until later.
When she was 17, Putin recognized her tremendous skills as he's an Olympics buff. He *loves* sports in general! Besides, IDK the age limit in Russia, but it's different in some countries w which age is legal 2date an adult anyways! IDK the age limit in Russia, IE, it being 18+ in USA, but I know the rumors of the 2being 2gether didn't begin until much later.
