Loving both versions! Muse can do no wrong! 😁💛👍🏽🤗💕
We need this on the next concert 😂
Amazing and Smooth!!
That voice is national treasure.
sooooo good. You know Matt scored the whole gospel choir section just for a laugh on his day off. Chris doing a great job with the backing vocals here and on Pressure. Lovely brush drumming from Dom, and Jools knocks it out the park as usual. 10/10.
Nobody wants to mention about Jools' solo?
Okay, that was sick solo Jools
It adds a really nice touch if u compare it to the gospel version on the album
Ikr??
So beautiful! I hope they perform Dig Down in a way like this on the next tour. But I have to say that I like the studio version as well. Love this song!
This version wont fit the aesthetics of their upcoming tour with the whole 80's retro theme. Apparently, this will be the biggest tour they have ever done with the effects.
my least fave muse song, wonder why they chose to play this song?
I have to say that i properly hate the studio version as well x) but good one here, it needs it
Andrew Patterson I've seen them twice but they never played dig down. to be fair the first time I saw them the song didn't exist! Some songs do sound better live though, I didn't like starlight much but was impressed when I heard it live.
Pretty sure Matt said he wants to strip it back, because the technology kept breaking during the last tour. They want to do more with live performers though
This is absolutely amazing. I was curious as to how this version turns out, but this is beyond expectations! Bravo!
Adrian Gougov it was like this on the beginning, then turns into the synths version
The subtle call off at the end was brilliant as the piece didn't need Jools' flourish to punctuate.
Love Matt’s vibrato in his voice
I’ve never been able to get on board with Dig Down...but this changes everything
Agreed
Completely agree. It’s not that it’s a bad song, it’s just not a Muse song. But this version? And Matt at 3:00?!Ridiculously good.
Same
I feel like the original is just not the whole story. You need to hear this version too to understand the full picture and the roots of the melody and harmony.
The original grew on me a lot, but this..this is bwilliant
bbbwah BWAH BWAH
Yeah same, at first i had a pwobwem with this song
*PWOPWOPWOPOWGWANDA*
I agree ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
BWEAKFAST😂
This is It... and my heart almost stopped at 3:00 :,)
Purely Gold. but poor Dom 😂
Aldi Achmad being a musician means knowing what to play which sometimes means playing nothing, a lot of bands in this genre particularly Karnivool use this philosophy to great effect by writing in layers, all creating space for each other to interweave in and sometimes that means playing nothing or very little. Personally I think Dom is doing what he thinks is most appropriate here helping to create a very powerful performance. Sometimes silence is golden.
Checkout the song Deadman from their album Soundawake and you’ll hear it being used to moving effect!
So Muse have now done
Every type of rock imaginable
Classical
Pop
New Wave
Funk
Dubstep
and now Gospel
got it
You're probably counting it as rock but don't forget metal
SnookerWither muse have never done metal
@@musejames93 yes they did a few songs that are kinda metal, like Assassin and Reapers, at least that's what they say on Wikipedia
gaspard rique I think Liquid State and Agitated are much more metal like
SpiderPig NYC all the songs mentioned liquid state / assassin are just rock or alternate rock no way are they considered metal. Listen to sic by slipknot to hear what metal sounds like
*_2:39_**_ when after hours you finally finish you Microsoft Word work but realize you forgot to save it_*
yo this comment made my day 😂 cherrs mate
3:01 is more accurate..haha
I got the chills..
Absolutely AWESOME! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better. Right in the face with this version.
The original is good but this one is superb. They are absolutely talented and gifted musicians.
Live. Playing versions. Something human about it. It is very pleasant to hear you guys now "stadium band" play less produced and more earthy songs. Hearing the piano and seeing the joy of Jools & Matt having jammed together at the end makes it worth to me.
This is just brilliant I so love Matt singing acoustic and what a lovely touch from Jools Holland. I can't wait until I see Muse live once more. My favourite band ever.
3:00 to 3:15 gave me goosebumps. Great moment!
3:00
ikr
Damn his vibrato is magnificent!
Perfection. This band never ceases to amaze me. Looking forward to the entirely of the album my friends!
Love Jools Holland. British icon. Love the version of this song also!
Still making some of the best music to be heard... If this doesn't lift your'e spirits... :) F.A.B. xx
YES! THIS VERSION NEEDS TO BE PLAYED FOREVER INSTEAD OF THE ONE WE GOT LAST YEAR! PLEASE!
This is the version they are touring.
@@joshs7642 yup it is fcking awesome 👍
Was Jools gonna play a final high chord there at end? Definitely looks like he was & Matt is like leave it to fade out beautifully (3.55) lol
Less is more
lol he totally was going to nice catch
Also, I adore the original version. Watching it live brought tears to my eyes. It’s a song that’s a good reminder...
Epic rendition indeed ! So good…at a loss for words!
This is why I love MUSE, incredible live performances every time you watch them. Vocals are unreal, backing group are off the chart and really make this version something special, Dom showing he can be subtle, Chris, well what can I say but passionate and as for Jools well, simply stunning accompaniment on the ivories. I will never tire of watching them whatever they do
First.. I thought this will be awkward.. Then I said to myself.. This is MUSE, and then I was f***** blown away! What a masterpiece, everybody was just spot on! Bravo!
The first time I heard "Dig Down" on radio a couple of years ago, didn't much like it. Later, listened more to the word/meaning of the song. Today in 2020, it mirrors what I have been going through in life. Thank you, MUSE, for all the great music you do and version. It is so inspirational in such difficult times as this. ❤🇬🇧👍
Woke up to listen to this. Today is gonna be a good day.
Powerful!!! 3:00 and 3:28 gave me genuine chills!!! Replaying that part over and over...
Really psyched for the studio version of this!
I already loved the originals (normal and acoustic) versions but dang, this really hits different live !
Love that shot over Jools' shoulder to focus on an awestruck John Cleary
What a gorgeous version!! congratulations and thank you guys!!
Love them guys.....Wonderul group , talented musicians......And a very good bassist.....Upwards
No esperaba que en vivo y de esta manera sonara tan excelente, de todas maneras distinta a la versión del álbum .
Absolut, very good, super! VOCAL fantastic! THANK YOU BBC MUSIC! I LOVE MUSE!
I'm so glad I pre ordered the Super Deluxe Edition!! So worth It!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘THIS ALBUM WILL BE TOP 3 BEST OF ALL TIME
BEST LIVE BAND EVER. Seen at Red Rocks and I can die happy now. Thank you
Music - fantastic. Vocal - fantastic. Text - fantastic. Thank You for the video! From Russia with Love.
This version of the song is truly amazing
I cant wait to watch you guys live again in Chicago! Please play this version! Either way I'll be singing along!✌👍
Awesome!!!! My heart already melted after watching this... 😍😍
I Love this song. Well Singing
Simply beautiful. Couldn't avoid getting teary eyes ❤❤❤
I love the reaction of the guy from one of the other acts performing on the night at 2:08 and his approving nod that he is witnessing something special. Respect from a fellow musician must be satisfying and rightfully so.
this is rich green. I reckon this should be the Xmas and new year no1. can't stop replaying this. omg..muse are amazing. so can't wait for their new album. 👍✌
Feckin epic & glorious!! If this doesn't make you smile and make life a little brighter then you're a dull husk of a being! Muse (Matt Bellamy) are superbly talented and have always had their own unique sound, but I do miss their old stuff..Showbiz & Absolution are their greatest in my opinion.
I literally got goosebumps all over my body listening to this version.
I really love this version!!!
I died and went to heaven and then heard the angels sing this again. Beautiful amazing version! ❤️
I have goose pumps !!!! It’s so beautiful !!!! 🌟💫✨
OMG, love this version so much!
Wow. Such a beauty ❤
Love this version!
Reverendo Matthew Bellamy
Love life because this band it's such a gift for us ❤️
At 3.00 that must be longest note Matt has held since Falling Away With You. Great job guys.
lindo adorei Boa noite obrigado abraço pra ti bjs ❤❤❤❤👏👏👏💚💙💗💖💟💕💜💛
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard
This is amazing version 😭😭😭😭🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Me encanta esta versión 💞
Thank you. I love song!
This would be such an amazing opener for the next tour!
All shows should END with this!
Not really. Misses... explosivity for an opener.
@@skann9048 exactly, and ends with a lot of emotions, and tears will be dropped
And to be honest, they should change Knights of Cydonia to the middle of the setlist...
@@josecienega6427 the did that with the 2nd law tour. Only on the drones tour it was the closing song.
X1000 better than album version no dubts
Absoluty yes!
Daniel Ruiz agreed. I love the original but this version puts it in a different league. They should release this version!
It has me excited for what else they have to offer in the Deluxe edition.
1mil time..
Personal preference, I love more live version than album.. it mean that they're good if the live version is better than album,
In general for every band
I loved this, for real guys, have heard it like a thousand times already hahahaha congratulations, your album truly seems like it's going to be an amazing experience :)
That piano solo....pure gold! Muse for Life!
I LOVE IT. BEAUTIFUL!😘
Just magically, wish I could have it a constant repeat. Lifted my spirits
P.s fingers crossed I get my hands on their live show tickets. I didn’t think they could ever top their drones tour.
this song is way more powerfull and likable in this soul filled delivery.
Love this version so much
Wow this is amazing... Great job... I love it
Oh! This is very pretty. I like the softness of it
I shall be in Bordeaux to see them in july 2019........aaarrggggghhh......I can't wait........
Wow Matt
Blond girl back row middle ( River) is doing lead vocals on the Sigala tour, love this live version pure quality
The power of Muse ....greeting from Italy 😍😍😍
This is a belter. Feel like these guys are perhaps bringing all the changes over the years and merging it with their origins literally .
The way it was meant to be heard. Don’t get me wrong I like the original, but this has the ‘it’ factor
ComposerO I actually agree I feel this song was meant to be more acoustic then electronic (which I understand is the theme of the new album :)
was never a fan of this song but damn this is amazing ive got actual chills
Daaamn, Muse on stage is something magical. I was in their Drones concert, best concert I've ever been to.
Best verision of this song !
One example of when a backing group add so much to a performance, brilliant IMO 👍
ohhhhhh yes, i love this version! vamos 💪
W-O-W, really digging this version
Matt with an acustic guitar is a strange thing that i'm not prepared to😍🙏
What about this soul?!?!? Woooow😳
Muse rock in every wayyyy, seriously...
So pure 👌
I'm a big fan of the original version but this one is just so beautiful!
Jools Holland is brilliant, love how his shows bring all types of music from all over the place, and of course Muse is Awesome 💞✌🎶🎤
i love this song now
Surpreendeu bastante.
I like the normal version, but this is still 100000000000000000000x better. Fucking goosebumps.
Wouldn't have been misplaced on Showbiz.
Absolutely brilliant performance.
Thank you! BRAVÓ! Wonderfull!
This version is orgasmically good.
absolutely brillant!
The greatest band. No doubt.
