My number 1 tip is to lure a few people to a small area(while hidden if you can manage), then smash a pot of tar all over them and light em up! Easy way to take multiple people out at once, especially heavily armored enemies.
I didn't know there was a first one. This game was awesome and I had tons of fun playing it. I found most collectables but some situations I felt like I didn't have time to stop I just wanted to know what was going to happen! The story telling was amazing
Why you worried about the crossbow reload speed when there are almost no bolts in the game? It doesn't matter how fast it reloads when the most bolts you'll ever have is one.
It's needed to level up the reinforced bolts which do not break, so that you can pull them out of dead enemies and things. Which, with bolt slots upgraded from 2 to 6, makes them practically limitless, with only some fierce combat situations as an exception
played a few chapter and find it so much harder than innocence. innocence worked very much like a serie of little puzzles and that was what made it great. This one relies on reflexes and quick adaptation and so far it's been more of a chore than anything to play. also reversing the camera (AND reversing the controls) during every chase scene is really the icing on the cake in term of dick moves. watch me run toward the rats ten times in a row ahah so fun. It's good there is an invicinble mode because I feel by the end of the game I'll probably activate it (the barn scene drove me made for example). Also like in the first boss fights really are a chore; so fun running around in a little square trying to figure out what to do. Too many one minute mechanics. too many chases. the prompt are always super finicky and you have to run around for one minute before being in front. Lucas sometimes freezes and blocks the game. I just wanted to play a nice narrative game with stealth and rats puzzle. I like a neat stealth sequence where nobody sees you but it's kinda hard to do in this game. Kinda regretting starting this; specially since it runs very poorly on my computer. It's a shame I liked the first one so much.
The reviews should have said what a piece of shit this game is optimization wise. Pure garbage. Won’t pay dime for this game. It’s on game pass and I’ll pass till it’s fixed

Exploring in this game is pretty boring imo, especially in larger open areas. You usually find components that you already have full pockets of or just some useless collectibles like flowers or feathers. I found it tedious and unrewarding. Main story is pretty good though.
Well if you explore more you'll tend to get more pieces to upgrade your weapons or pockets earlier, which is rewarding because pieces are really insufficient.

I didnt know about the crossbow and maxed out the upgrade tool and by end of game i nearly had everything maxed except the sling

My experience is that once you unlock to carry multiple bolts, there will be more to find around than before.

Lil dude can control rats, him being able to sens/see enemies when rats are around makes sense all things considered.

Has nothing to do with optimization, the consoles just can't run such a complex title at 60fps. The visuals are just too much to handle
