Sticking with the basics, this week...we are changing brake pads on the Sur-Ron. Similar to most bicycles that use Hydraulic Brakes, this is a simple process.

What kind of torque wrench do you use?
What to do if my pad bolt is broken inside
Hi, may i know the measurement of this caliper? Especially the width! Thanks😊
So, I followed this process and now the throttle won't engage despite being energized, any ideas?
Your going around the houses a bit here mate
you make this look way easier than it is. i bought the gritshift brake pads and cant even get it to slide in the caliper. idk what im doing wrong
Have you tried pushing the caliber piston to the sides
@@brianr5065 yeah I got it done
I just changed my brake pads. Rear caliper pistons aren't moving.Any tips ? Thinking of bleeding hopefully not defective 🙏
You might have cocked the piston in the caliper. Take it apart again and look at it closely and use your screwdriver again to press around making sure its not stuck from being cocked. Hopefully you understand. That’s if it was working before you took it apart.
Same thing with me. my piston won’t go back into place. it was out to far and I tried pushing it back in, no budge. instead it came out and brake fluid went everywhere. how do i fix?
@@luccacecil6295 exact same thing happened to me. Find any solution?
Shit me to. Piston won’t go back down
@@adamluckeyoil went out of your breaks while changing g
I pumped my brakes and lost all my brake fluid thanks a lot
Damn the same thing just happened to me, I should’ve looked through the comments before changing my brake pads ☹️
@@matteobruno4507 I got it fixed ! Do you need help on finding a kit
@@rease4141 what did you get??
😂
Lost
Why remove the caliper? Center pin and done!
For cleaning, ease of access to clean the pistons and in pushing the pistons back.
We're being thorough here to ensure the caliper lasts longer. 5mins extra work for longer caliper life.
Due to laziness.. 😂
Like everyone else in this thread I pumped the brake too many times while the pads weren't in and now I have to bleed. You should have put a disclaimer at that part. Video is trash man take this down.
Ya you should remove the video or put a disclaimer. Causing people money and pain in the ass
