  • When this woman tried tipping at this restaurant, she noticed that the percentages weren't adding up to the total amount. And this realization caused many reactions, with some wondering how it is even possible for a restaurant to do this in the first place. #amazingshorts #restaurant #reaction

There is no such thing as tipping where I live. The closest thing I see to tipping is in coffee shops it says “tip” on a jar but there is only coins

Just do custom and put like 1% it's that easy

20% of the subtotal is only $8.13. The customer would’ve gotten ripped off if they didn’t notice

did you know many restaurants automatically deducts money from the servers based on sales they get at the end of the night to tip out the rest of the staff being bussers, food runners, hosts, etc.. Which means if you dont tip that comes directly out of the servers pocket. some restaurants will make the server owe the house money if they don't get enough tips to tip out the rest of the house and its automatically deducted from the check. this is why tipping 18% is important to do because its the way that the industry works. if you don't want to tip then don't go out to eat, simple.

when they take away the option from you and demand, this will be what your paying, that's 100% wrong. If a restaurant can't afford their running costs, and the establishment is effectively making you pay for meal TWICE, its time to take back your power as a consumer..if you want to tip for the service your recieved from your waiter then, only tip cash and only to that member of staff, whilst making it clear to management what you've done why, so there's no come back for the staff...
