- When this woman tried tipping at this restaurant, she noticed that the percentages weren't adding up to the total amount. And this realization caused many reactions, with some wondering how it is even possible for a restaurant to do this in the first place. #amazingshorts #restaurant #reaction
Thats like a 75% increase
There is no such thing as tipping where I live. The closest thing I see to tipping is in coffee shops it says “tip” on a jar but there is only coins
Where you live?

Just do custom and put like 1% it's that easy
I dont think thats easy. "No Tip" should be an option.
DISCLAIMER: THE $40.66 IS BEFORE TIP. THE TIP IS CALCULATED AT THE BOTTOM
Yeah, but 20% is THIRTY DOLLARS
20% of the subtotal is only $8.13. The customer would’ve gotten ripped off if they didn’t notice
@@adimajumdar5219yeah i know i just didnt know if everyone realized that the tip was at the bottom
We arent stupid. The total isnt adding up. Thats the issue.
They are stealing from customers.
Im European so no I'd not be tipping.
I always do 0 unless service is exceeded expectations
did you know many restaurants automatically deducts money from the servers based on sales they get at the end of the night to tip out the rest of the staff being bussers, food runners, hosts, etc.. Which means if you dont tip that comes directly out of the servers pocket. some restaurants will make the server owe the house money if they don't get enough tips to tip out the rest of the house and its automatically deducted from the check. this is why tipping 18% is important to do because its the way that the industry works. if you don't want to tip then don't go out to eat, simple.
Thats Fraud and should end up with a big charge against the owner
That place deserves the rating below zero for doing crap like this
This is why I pay in cash
20% of $40 is $30 lol
Do custom and pick 1 percent tip
(Edit) Ty for 2 likes
I will only tip if the workers were nice, but the restaurant ASKING you for tips? that’s so rude
Just customize and type 1
when they take away the option from you and demand, this will be what your paying, that's 100% wrong. If a restaurant can't afford their running costs, and the establishment is effectively making you pay for meal TWICE, its time to take back your power as a consumer..if you want to tip for the service your recieved from your waiter then, only tip cash and only to that member of staff, whilst making it clear to management what you've done why, so there's no come back for the staff...
No tipping today luv ❤😂
Nah in my country nobody even cares about tipping btw my country is india
Bro fell of
I always do 15%
Maybe 10% at most. If somebody is in a good mood they can help give more but shouldn’t have to. Just my thought.
This is why I will never go to America lol outrageous
nopee
No i don't
No
That particular demographic doesn't tip. They can't grasp societal expectations nor private contracting.
M8 I'm white and I don't tip get over it
Shut up
Tipping is just making it worse the employer should pay them not me
You sound so idiotic, the food cost 40$, it says a 20% tip is 30$, that's not how math works, of course no one would tip that, only a complete idiot who didint pass 5th grade math would accept that tip
The employees want a little extra to afford christmas
Boys like if u agree with me
i get that but 30 dollars is outrageous
A new job..
And they need to express that to their pos employers, not the CUSTOMERS that also want to be able to afford things.
It's not extra. It's their wage.
Yes they are as long your eating at their establishment THEY WILL GET YOU
