Glad to see I've got some shared fans in this community. I'm loving DC20. Foundry VTT is well-known as the best implemention of PF2e on the market. So many bells and whistles to make it sing. The goal is to onboard a new GM and players and have them playing the game in minutes. Even without ever having played before. I see something similar for DC20 😍
Owlbear is my VTT of choice - simple to start using, can add complexity as and when you need / want to.
Also, FOR THE ALGORITHM!!💜🐲💜

In regards to ancestories I dont know if your familiar with Symbaroum at all. But they have a very interesting way of having goblins get old, travel to a deep cave, die, and in a like a butterfly metamorphosis process they are reborn as Ogres with no memory of their goblin life.
The "Earth-Earth-Fire-Fire" and similar ways to evolve the Elementalist reminded me very strongly of my beloved video game series - Golden Sun, and its Djinni system. With this way of the Elementalists, you can build Adepts and go exploring Weyard!
Check out Adept classes from those games - and let Chaos Lord Felix unleash the dreaded Megiddo spam while the Pure Mage Mia supports him by all the strongest healing options!

He just really loves the game.
Glad to hear about the armor rework. First thing I thought about the alpha is the weapons were all so cool with their distinguishing traits but the armor feels so flat. Adding the similar effects is the way.
I can see a sort of “package” idea of combining talents as a recommended bundle for making “prestige paths”. Sort of like an optimization guide idea of showing off thematic or tactical combinations of talents.
Like a creativity prompt, sample build, quick build (like some classes include an example/recommended spell list)
Very excited for Alchemy RPG, I can't wait!

I'm really hoping we get an Occultist class and Hemomancy.
Will different damage types come with their own effects, such as cold damage reducing movement speed and psychic damage instantly breaking concentration?
What bothers me in D&D is that damage types serve no purpose other than overcoming resistances.

I thought Tabletop Simulator was more like a normal table. So you just need a map and minis. What does the specialized TTRPG give you?

it’s been a while since I used it, but there’s definitely more stuff you can do with it supported rather than just dropping all your own stuff onto the virtual tabletop.

We may not hit it. I thought the same. But it could come out in future stuff. It's unfortunate but the truth. This games funding kind of slowed at 1.5 million. But the game is still very promising.
The last 3-4 days of Kickstarters tend to shoot way up. I expect DC20 to make $250,000+ in these last few days.

Can you invest in better art? What I’ve seen seems rather cartoonish. It’s why I’m not getting the new DnD all the official art they have shown is just bad. I know it’s about the system but I like looking at the art. It’s why I still flip through my third 3rd edition books, and why I go through my Warhammer Fantasy rpg books long after I stopped playing them
