Paint Defect After Ceramic Coating? 2021 Granite Scat Pack

My ceramic coating showed a paint defect! Back to get it fixed!
In this video Jared discovers the new ceramic coating has magnified a previously unseen defect and returns to have it (hopefully) fixed. This Scat Pack is still under 500 miles!

I wonder if the cars ship with some type of plastic or protective tape in that area. I eventually noticed similar imperfections in the paint of a 2020 Smoke Show RT I ordered. They were in the same area on both back doors. As you said, have to be in the right light and the right angle to notice.

Looks like a high spot n the coating they didn’t level it correctly there gonna have to remove the coating n the spot n recoat

Yep - exactly what they did - but it was definitely in the paint!
