No wonder this magnificent HZ Premier has all those trophies on the back seat.
    Beautiful vehicle...!
    Re the 4.2litre HZ motor.
Dad had a 4.2litre HZ Kingswood SL,and it always felt strangled,or knobbled...guess that's what ADR27A did to the motor. I never could convince him to put a decent set of header's plus dual exhaust on it,let alone a better carburettor than the standard 2barrel Stromberg (I think?).
These modest upgrades made for a much better allround motor. Those were the days, and thanks for the upload 😁👍

Looks better than when it was driven off the showroom floor.

Headlights have been changed, Not the Original H1's. Battery terminals replaced. Washer bottle rare spares type. Carpet is not the premier type (plush pile), Exhaust tip not original & RH rear quarter has been painted. Other wise pretty good.

No HZ left the factory with that good a paint job, the books are showing more wear then the car.

No way, not one stone chip and paint work was not that good during that time.

That engine bay has had a make over and the front panel has definately been resprayed.

@@WascallyWabbittIt just depends if the car was always garaged, if you have a good in-house garage.
I've seen original cars without restoration at Steinborner Holden Gawler in the Barrosa valley museum, he has an original VB Commodore mint condition, and SLR Torana

Depends on your definition of original as obviously lots of things have been painted and replaced. If the car has over 120 000kms as stated most of the engine bay is not original.

I have an original HR Premier that's been in the family since Day #1. It looks like this. Look at the Pain in the light @ 02:38. If it's a respray it wouldn't look like that. Carry on.
