- This was my 2nd unmedicated birth and it was very different and much more positive from the first! This time I was prepared and had some tools to keep my birth progressing and quick. I wanted to share my positive birth story as I found so much value in listening to these as I was closer and closer to my due date. I knew I wanted to have a natural child birth again and although this does get a bit harder in the process, I'm so happy I did it as my recovery time has been quite easy. I hope this video and my experience will give some mama some tips or just some more discussion around the subject, as I know how it feels to have child birth be ALL you can think about! Good luck to you!
Best pregnancy book! amzn.to/2S3PtJa - features lots of birth stories AND real life tools and tricks to know during labor for any issues that may arise. I found myself liking this one above all other books during both pregnancies.
*THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE PLEASE CONSULT YOUR DR! I AM JUST SHARING WHAT I DID. I AM NOT A DOCTOR. I DON'T EVEN THINK I TOOK A SCIENCE CLASS OUTSIDE OF HIGH SCHOOL. :)

Yes! Feeling so blessed 🥰
Congratulations on your new baby. Your story was very helpful because you described so well the events and how you powered through them. Realizing that your body is built for this and working with it not against it makes a huge difference. I found that to be true with my children's birth. As in all things, do the research and do what's best for you.
Definitely! ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations to you and Hubby! Sweet baby boy!💙

Amazing story! Thank you for sharing. You’re right, our body knows exactly what to do, but since we’ve had so much information, sometimes it can clog our instinct. I went through 2 natural deliveries also. It’s called Lamaze (after the founder). Hubby and I took classes, and have a certificate, otherwise he won’t be allowed in the labor room with me. Our local hospital has a separate room for this kind of delivery, so it was private. I went through a 24-hour labor with my daughter and 14-hour labor with my son [husband said only 4 for the 3rd, I said, no, we’re done]. My OB encouraged us to do natural birth. I also had 2 or 3 trips to the hospital and was sent home, somehow my cervix had a fixation at 2 cm. My labor both happened in the evenings, both were born in the mornings. When you said you felt his head, I remember my husband whispered to me, it’s crowning and I instinctively pushed. And out the baby went. I also remember feeling my son’s shoulders, but it all happened fast. And after, I was so exhausted and hungry. Both of my babies were small, my son was even considered underweight at 5 lbs & 1 oz, that he had to stay at the nursery for a week, while I was sent home the next day. Now my daughter is 28, son is 24. But my own birth stories, I always treasure. It was truly an accomplishment, very painful, but all so worth it.
Wao good story👏 congratulations!
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Anna, congratulations on the birth of your son. Enjoy your beautiful family. xo, Cowgirl Deb

Haha 🤣 priorities, right? Lol
You look so great in your cute glasses at the hospital. You should wear them more.
Thanks! I'll think about it 🤣
🤣I never really understood why at the last stage of labor when you body wants to push, medical staff tell you not too🥵When I had my fifth child twenty five years ago, I was the boss of my labor, & when my amazing body was ready to push…so I did!!😉*A fifth child born name in Latin is QUENTIN. Our son Quentin will be 26yrs in September🥳🙏🏼
Thank You so much for sharing your beautiful story 🥰
That's amazing! omg 5 kids!!! 🙌🙌
@@ANNAREID29 🤣🥵👍🏼🙏🏼
🥳CONGRATULATIONS to You & Your Husband 🙌🏽
🥰Beautiful family😉
With my first child, I had a midwife whom I felt really pushed me not to get an epidural. (She never had a child - just had to add that in. ;) ) I felt she kept delaying, until finally she said, "It's too late for an epidural." I was SO nervous, until I remembered something my mom told me that helped her through labour: "Women have been having babies for thousands of years. If they can do it, so can I!" :D Sure, it was painful, but as you said, as soon as you see your beautiful baby, the pain is forgotten. It's miraculous!
I love this!! Yes! When you think of it that way it' slike, ok I got this! ❤️
Congratulations
Thank you! ❤️
I haven’t had babies, but my sister, who’s had three, gave me this advice: once labor starts for real, have a shower and shampoo and eat a good meal, the things they won’t let you do when in labor. She said the worst things about her first was feeling so sweaty, and being starving all the time! Women are so stoical about labor pain, millions do this every day and don’t think natural labor is that bad. When I had a huge ovarian cyst that put me into false labor, I thought I was going to die of the pain!
You’re so brave! The only regret of my life is not having children, my then-husband was adamantly refusing, after him, it was too late for me.
There are most definitely perks to not having them too 😃
Billions of women before us have given birth without drugs or an epidural. I think this is a highly personal choice, chicken that I am, I would definitely have wanted one. I laughed a bit when I heard the local hospital started giving breastfeeding classes. If women didn’t naturally know how to do this, there wouldn’t be 8 billion of us! I think our species has been doing just fine without them.
True!
