Yes that is an accurate description of salvia. The distinctive brain-bifurcating spiral of an intensely kaleidoscopic ego-death that lasts all of 3 minutes and makes you quite uncertain you ever want to experience it again.

Quite different from my experience... I spent 5 minutes as a 2d character in the Simpsons school building that was in the carpet (guess the colours reminded me of it.) Whenever the other people I was with would call me they would appear as dots in the distance and I would zoom to them with the speed of light only to not understand what they were saying and get sucked back to Simpsons land.
When the main part of the trip subsided I was uncontrollably laughing for 15 minutes whilst being stuck in my comfy chair like I was glued to it with bubblegum (or think Venom suit if you're in to superheroes.) Trying to explain the experience, but unable to form coherent sentences, like you'd expect from a black out drunk but you're fully aware that you're fumbling your speech.
To be fair out of the three of us one did have a bad experience, but I was a pretty experienced and responsible psychonaut by then so we trip sitted her until the effect was gone.
And it's also completely legal because its so fucked up that it can't be compared to other drugs for legislative purposes

OMG! That's exactly how I felt the one and ONLY time I did Salvia!! I came out of it like, how is THIS legal but weed isn't?! The fkn room turned into the Jamiroquai Virtual Insanity video and it felt a lot longer than 5 minutes but that was literally all it was. Never Again!!!!!!
