Nothing will ever beat Ben Platt's version for me, but, holy cow, you did great! The part where it says "something other than this mess that l am" practically always gets me ugly crying when I watch the scene or hear the song... 'cause it HURTS. It's *more* than relatable. Almost like the emotions are flowing out of Ben Platt (or anyone who performs it very well) and into my own heart. This song will ALWAYS hit hard.
