Berhalter is clearly one of the best in the world at the quick restart, showing world-class technique and flair while executing with pace and power. He really is in great form right now. You can see him brimming with confidence every time he touches the ball, and it’s going to be a proud moment watching him do his thing at the World Cup this year. But Jesse Marsch has been introducing some of these techniques to the Premier League, arguably an even bigger stage than CONCACAF. He’s got a decent bounce pass on him and he delivered a beautifully well-weighted two-handed underhand squat-lob to set Pascal Struijk up for a throw-in this weekend. We already know Marsch is already pointing at world-class levels. Do you think his throw-in game is on the level of Berhalter’s, and if not, do you think he’ll be at that level by the 2026 World Cup?
