The optima V2 probably shoots just as good and half the price the new accurate are nice but I don't think that much in price difference really like to see shooting video out to 300 yards maybe more that will tell the difference

Is it worth double the price?

I think that depends if the extra's are worth it to you or not. The extra's being an adjustable trigger, adjustable cheek riser, ability to use a muzzle break, and actual stud to attach a bipod.

Do they both have receivers and trigger guards made of plastic?

The trigger guards are made of the same 406 stainless the receiver is made from

Which muzzleloader do you recommend? Trying to buy my first muzzleloader. Thanks

If your just getting into them, and your not sure if this is going to be your thing, then you'll probably be fine with a wolf or optima. Most people, aside from myself, seem to be happy with them. If your just hunting two to four days out of the year, or every other year with a muzzy, I wouldn't invest too heavily into it.
Now here's a thing, starting out, pelletized black powder substitute makes things EASY. However, it's my understanding that this powder deteriorates over time, and might cause some crazy standard deviations. Loose blackpowder is more shelf stable, and more consistent shot per shot , but if your new to blackpowder, is a bit harder to understand.
Now, that said, I think this makes a difference if your local regs allow for the use of scopes. If your shooting open sights, out to 100 yards, it's probably not going to make too big a difference between pellets and loose powder. Once you start shooting beyond 100 yards, that's when the issues come up.

@@MiddleOutdoorsman hunting in New Mexico, it will be with open sights. The G&F changed regs this season to no scopes. I’d like to get something that is going to be a decent ML which I could use for a long haul rather than buy one for now then buy another later. So I’m looking for something that will allow for long term as well as not break the bank. I’m kind of stuck between a Optima V2, Accura MT-X ,Knight Mountaineer and Thompson Center Triumph. Unless there is a better choice?

@@fernandoroybal3968 I made another video on this subject. ( czcams.com/video/QHqf3_8OLBY/video.html ) It's a long video so I chapter'ed it out for easier skipping around. If I could afford it, I think i'd have gone with knight, but they were out of my price range, or I couldn't find one in stock with the specs i wanted.

Mrx feels more like a gun than the v2

Yeah I have to agree. It's kinda like getting bells and whistles without switching to a non standard inline muzzy loadings. If one was to go the traditional route, than either one is a complete nogo. Honestly, I wanted a certain hawken's made by Pendersoli, but I can't justify the 1K+ price tag, not to myself or my wife.
