Have to hand it to Festool, not that such mobile workbenches/MFT's are a new idea as designs for such have been available on Instructables for about a decade but, this is a really well thought out piece of kit. Very nice. It shows the company watches and listens to how people do - and want to - work. As other comments have noted, it's not exactly good value but a great piece of design nonetheless.
This will keep me awake at night until the release date.🤪
Can you hook a CMS to this unit?

Another mortgage to buy this I bet
North America Release Date?????? Please?????
Are there really contractors that are ALL festool, all portable MFTs, dust collectors, stacks of systainers, and of course, the festool uniform. I see this maybe in FBI forensics, not carpenters. You never see the real mess that construction makes in these videos.

All that tool platform innovation and accuracy costs money. Mafell tools can cost twice as much.
bighands69 I know dude I have a van full of festool but the prices are getting worse and the competition is really catching up. That is just too expensive. It’s a shame!

None of the competition has an overall systems approach meaning you cannot by a whole platform of tools that complement each other.
Festool takes a modular approach such as using CMS as a router table, saw table or sanding table. And at the same time offer amazing dust collection and be stored away conveniently.
Triton have some tools that can do tha such as their multifunction workcentre but it simply is not as good as festool.
Festool in my opinion are an investment and not everybody needs to make that investment.
Try kitting out a workshop with machines and tools and it very quickly will add up to the same price as festool.
bighands69 my dad has a workshop with a lot of proper Machines. Like 7 head moulders, tenons, spindle moulders etc so I know it can cost hundreds of thousands but people who do that work do not use festool because it’s toy town to them kind of machines. I believe festool is made for the people on the road like the other tool companies are and sadly for festool them companies are catching up and I see a lot of people jumping from festool now because of the prices. I am also thinking of selling all my festool for a different brand.
