The fairies in the sims 3 were my FAVORITE occults to play with. If they made a fairy expansion, girl BYE, I would be glued to my computer lol
I would love to have fairies even tho I never had supernatural in the sims 3. I feel like most of the occults we have now are very 'intense' if you know what I mean, it be nice to have a 'softer' one. And their little houses ofc
For the legacy challenge the heir should be baby and they should own a restaurant that’s based on cheese, I know dine out isn’t a great pack but I think it would be fitting because after all the it’s the nightmare legacy challenge

I had a very fun few days making my entry for this, and had a lot more fun scrolling through the hashtag looking at people's entries! They are all so good!
Same. I made two for this shell including one call "Let's build like Lilsimsie" it was awesome doing this shell.

Yea. I was like oh this needs another build dedicated to lilsimsie twitch chat of items they want her to put in builds. Then I made a family for that house. The second build took me so much time vs the first, because I was frustrated with the layout.

I have a new appreciation for the creativity, time, and effort that 'abandoned' and otherwise spooky builds take, after doing one myself for this challenge. I only barely fit two bedrooms in, and then I come here and see people neatly fit three, four, even five! Absolutely amazing job done by those shown, and everyone else who shared!
I love how different each build is! So creative
This shell was genuinely SO fun it was my first time doing one and also the first time I used debug for a build. I think mine had turned out really well but I learned a LOT of how to improve based on seeing other people's creations as well. I'm even more excited for the next one and I want to push myself even further.
Oh my gosh. I love, love, love the fairy ring in the fairy bookstore build, the attention to detail and knowledge of fae lore is just so cool.
The last fairy build is SO beautiful. I love the spooky haunted style too, but the bookstore is so magical 🧚♀️🔮🪄💕

i loved doing this shell, i made an abandoned cottage and didn’t think that kayla would see my build but she commented on it in the gallery saying it’s so detailed!! literally made my whole week ❤️
The dragonflies are nice, and the fireflies are magical at night time. Also, those two don't need a pond.

Does anyone else think that Simsie should do a challenge where it's like the shell challenge where anyone can participate, but theres a full story made about a family and what they want or don't want in a house? For example, "A family with two parents, one kid, and a grandmother, and they're all into tech but have a low budget." Or something along those lines

That last build might just be my favorite one ever… I love it SO MUCH!!! There have been so many other builds you have looked at that I’ve fallen in love with, but that one really tops the list. Great work!!

When I see all these amazing builders and everything that they've done with the shell challenge I feel sad when the video ends.
I'd be happy if there was a 3-hour video on it obviously that's not very realistic but that's just how much I love it when you tour the builds.

Can we take a second to appreciate how simsie out all of these builds on different lots that would fit the vibe? That must have taken ages, but it’s so nice in comparison to staying on one lot and loading the houses in ❤ i love it!

Thank you for spotlighting these builds! I love the gallery but easily get lost. I feel like I miss a lot of good lots from talented creators. Also it’s really hard to notice the details in the gallery’s screenshots. Love the video walkthrough. Wish we could have videos for all the builds in the gallery!

Those are really cool. I did one too but I'm not experienced at all in builds but lately have been putting more effort into trying. I love the Vampire mansion and the cat cafe especially. Awesome.
i got so excited when i saw "abandonned..." in the description because i did the challenge and called mine "abandonned welcome shell" ^^
The second house was straight up my alley. I love this style and I play with occult sims a lot so this would have been perfect if I had access to the gallery :(
the blue Mediterranean house is so amazing because if you looked at like the tiles and a bunch of the intricate, detailed furniture near each other you would think it would be way too cluttered and busy but it works so well in this house!

I've never been good at building in the sims and always settled for a square with rooms but finding this channel made me wanna give a true effort. I'm gonna go build a proper Sims house

This was my first shell challenge but I got it in a day late. Love seeing what everyone else has done! Thinking of filling Newcrest with all of these builds haha
I always make so many screenshots in these videos to add to my Sims inspo file, because people have so many good ideas to make Sims builds look more realistic.

It’s interesting that this challenge was for new simmers but showed only expert builders in the sims.
Agreed. I thought I might get a look-see at least but I didn't. It's a bit disheartening to find out your build wasn't even viewed.
Yeah, as amazing as these builds are, it's kinda disheartening too. I've done a few of these now, and I end up feeling very happy with my build (I'll even decorate a bunch, which I pretty much never do for a normal build), and then I see the MOO/DEBUG/TOOL masterpieces and its just like "I don't even have a chance."
omg the abandoned house made me miss the "fix me lil simsie" videos. Please make one again!
I'm decent at building (at least I hope I am) and I've just finished building a base game house and uploaded it to the Gallery for both new players and seasoned players to download and do whatever they please with it, but I don't think I'm anywhere near as talented as any of these builders are. I'm beyond jealous!

A lot of these build are so pretty but the only thing I don’t like is they are not very playable. When you alt place so many things they don’t disappear and then you’re stuck with all this stuff floating in your way when you are trying to play.
i also feel with the haunted house your sims would take hours to walk up the stairs

Thank you for acknowledging that Marleen had a bunch of fakes. What really bites is that other people like and downloaded those fakes as well. I kept reporting the fakes as much as possible.
Ah thank you! It's really frustrating but i'm very happy that people will report the builds and knows who the real builder is.
@@fleva_flikken_maastricht How do we know if it's fake? I'd hate to download something that belonged to someone else but how would I know? Plus, who do you report it to?
@@columbia2635 it's the same build but you can see who is uploading the build. If is not my name you see then you got a coppie of my build. You can report them to click on the flag on the gallery screen for plagiarism.
@@columbia2635 plus the people reuploading Marleen's build just leave the description of the build including all the hash tags in there. After seeing the build I can tell why it was frustrating seeing the fakes because that type of build took so much time and effort.
@@fleva_flikken_maastricht There's so many builds that I would likely never see them in order to make that determination. I know the builds are tagged with the name of the person who creates the shell but I'm guessing then that your name isn't added to that. Sure ought to be! That sucks for you because, unless someone goes through all of them, it might well be passed over. If I ever see something weird, I'll gladly flag it. I honestly had no idea people were doing that. That's terrible.🙁

Not sure if this is possible but I was wondering if you could add maybe one or two console builds to these build tours, I know as a console player you can tell when a build was done on console and I think it would be encouraging for other console players to see what other console builders can do especially now that the base game is free.
