Wallahi this is a calamity. People associates Salafiyyah with hating madhahib, but we follow madhab without blind following. They treat blind following like Usool Al-Deen. They have wala wa’l bara for madhab but not Aqeedah

The irony is many of these madhabis, especially hanafis, don't even 'follow' their madhabs. They just blindly follow whatever was taught to them by their parents or fellow blind followers. If you were to ask them to name their hanafi scholars, very few would be able to do that, or name a hanafi text book by Abu Hanifa, 99% of them wouldn't have a clue.... its a case of the blind following the blind!

The Salafi dawah is a methodology and not a sect or madhab as it has never had any one overall leader expect the prophet Muhammad ﷺ all other sects, groups or madhabs have a founder or overall leader either in the past or today. Salafis also do not blindly-follow anyone scholars understanding of Islam in every issue unlike groups and sects with in Islam. Salafis follow the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah also known as Ahlus Sunnah from the past and of today collectively on all issues.
Salafis can come from the Maliki, the Shafi’i, the Hanbali, or the Hanafi schools of law.
Salafis accept teaching of all four schools of law but only if their rulings are supported by clear and authenticated evidences from the Quran and Sunnah. Salafis reject blind-following (taqleed) and call to Ittibaa following and obedience to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
They only say a person should not blind follow a madhab. By this what is meant is following only one madhab in every issue without knowing their evidences believing this madhab is correct on every issue, while rejecting every other madhab on every issue without knowing their evidences, believing they are wrong on every issue.

Mu’aadh bin Jabal (radiallah anhu) said: “Even if an Aalim in upon guidance, do not do his taqleed in your deen.”[Jaami Bayaan al-Ilm: 2/222 H. 955, Chain Hasan]
Note: The clear permissibility of taqleed, either from the sayings or from the actions, is not proven from a single Sahaabi (Companion) from among all the Sahaabah. On the contrary Haafidh Ibn Hazam al-Andalusi said:
“It is the proven Ijmaa of all the Sahaabah from beginning till the end, and all the taabi’een from beginning till the end that accepting all the sayings of a person from amongst them or from the people before them is prohibited and impermissible.”
[Al-Nabazat ul-Kaafiyah by Ibn Hazam Pg 71, Ar-Radd ala man Akhlad ilal ard lil Suyooti Pg 131-132, Deen Main Taqleed ka mas’ala Pg 34-35]

Absolute blind following is haraam. Yes you can blind follow unti a daleel negates the opinion of a scholar. If you are knowledgeable and can distinguish using daleel. That's a general principle. Now many laymen hanafies blind follow because their muftis present daleel whether saheeh or dhaeef which laymen cannot distinguish.

*Leaving the madhhab when it opposes a hadeeth | Shaykh Muhammad ibn abdul wahhab رحمه الله*
If a person is learning fiqh from one of the four madhhabs, then he sees a hadeeth that opposes his madhhab; and so he follows it and leaves his madhhab then this is recommended, rather it is obligatory upon him when the proof has been made clear to him.
This would not be considered as opposing his Imaam that he follows, since they Abu Haneefah, Maalik, ash-Shaafiee and Ahmad, radiallaahu anhum ajmaeen were all agreed upon this fundamental principle.
... As for the case whereby a person does not have any evidence which opposes the view of the scholars of the madhhab, then we hope that it is permissible to act upon it (the madhhab), since their opinions are better than our own opinions; they took their proofs from the sayings of the Companions and those who came after them.
However, it is not essential to declare with certainty (al-jazm) that this is the Shareeah of Allaah and His Messenger, until the proof that is not contradicted in this issue is made clear.
This is the action of the Salaf of this Ummah and its scholars both previous and recent as well as that which they criticised:
namely having bigotted partisanship for particular madhhabs and leaving off following the proof...
    However, if there becomes clear to him something which necessitates preferring one saying over another;
either due to detailed proofs if he knows and understands them, or because he holds one of the two people to be more knowledgeable about this matter and having more piety about what he says, and so he leaves the saying of that one for the saying of the other one then this is permissible, rather it is obligatory.
And there is a text from Imaam Ahmad concerning this.
    Shaykh ul-Islaam Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhaab
    Ad-Durur-Saniyyah (4/7).

The Shafis during their eras were also vehemently ferocious against the Hanafis and would also prohibit and declare it to be unlawful to pray behind the Hanafis just on the basis of differences in Fiqh. For example if the hanafi imam touched his wife whilst being in a state of wudu or if he did not pray in a clam manner. Imam Nawawi went onto say praying behind them under such circumstances was impermissible according to Shaikh Ibn Qaffal and this was also the position of the majority (of the scholars of the shafis) and this is what is correct.
He goes onto say Shaikh Abu Ishaq Isfaraini said that a Shafi should never pray behind a hanafi, also they say if a Hanafi did wudu according to Shafi way then according to the majority (of the shafi) scholars praying behind such an Imam is correct. Shaikh Ibn Qaffal said his prayer is incorrect. Etc. Also statements of this kind have been cited from Shaikh al-Awdani and Shaikh al-Halimi who were from the major Shafi scholars. (The details of which can be seen in Sharh al-Muhazab of Imam Nawawi 1/203 and 4/289)
