The road to success in gymnastics is brutal, very brutal. Thirty hours of training each week, not being able to go on nights out, always on a diet, and barely any holidays. All this for one goal; your own success.
'The Hard Way To Success' shows the road to success of different gymnasts. Every first Monday of every month a new gymnast tells his or her story. The series brings special stories of athletes and displays the athlete as a hero, despite possible setbacks in his or her career.

I really like her character. This makes me want to cheer for her in international events. She did so well in the 2017 Montreal Worlds, she can be so proud coming from a country that's not one of the top nations of gymnastics. Such an underdog. :)
She just seems so nice. Exactly like her coach said, she truly seems compassionate. I know they all can't win in Rio, but I hope she does well.

Great episode. I remember talking briefly to Guilia at the 2013 Europeans and thought she was very nice and down to earth, and this just confirms it. I wish her all the best in Rio.

in this documentary she describes exactly what simone biles went through during the olympics. sadly for simone it came in a very unfortunate time and it resulted in usa losing the gold in the team final. giulia is an amazing gymnast and i hope she continues training to one more cicle 💖
