Carlsons ftw. Customer service is unmatched. Sbe 3 cremator full. Great combo. All my buddies run Carlsons and all very happy with their purchases.

I loved carlsons cremators, however, in 3 guns the only one that didn’t change the point of impact was the decoy choke. I sold them.
I used the kicks high flyer mod for almost 10 years in an sx3 but it was a tight pattern. I only used, and still only use it for divers.
Moral of my story, my factory IC and Mod serve all my waterfowl needs.

Carlsons chokes all the way. No one has been able to match the customer support not even close. I also have really nice patterns with them. The best match I have found is Carlsons cremator mid range paired with Rio 3 1/2" 3s. Dont need the 3 1/2 but thats what seems to pattern the best out of my pew.

IMO the best choke tube is the one that patters your specific choice of ammo the best. The brand doesn’t matter.

I shoot modified all the time in all conditions on ducks and geese big and small. As far as shot size I use either speed shock BB's or Miagra BB 3 stack

Currently use a Briley Extended Modified for my SX 3. Do have a Patternmaster Code Black Duck that I have run for goose hunting in the past. The Briley is more versatile, as I can shoot ducks and geese. I've found the Patternmaster to be too tight for decoying ducks.

I agree 100% with everything you said but I started doing dove/duck hunting with a mod in closer proximity and then went to a full and I personally was way better with the full but I agree with you fully

Muller is the way to go. I have all three tubes and tested on paper. They outperformed pattern master/stock m2 chokes by a long shot.

I shelled out over $400 for a full muller set and found out they pattern essentially the same as my $180 set of carlson cremators. Muller was a literal *smidge* tighter than carlsons in every constriction, which for my purposes does not work for me. The only muller tube that I use over the carlsons is the UFO for turkey hunting.

I've used a bunch of the big choke tube brands, Carlsons, patternmaster, kicks, jebs, Indian creek just to name a few and ofc factory guns chokes so browning/winchester, Benelli, Remington, used them in super black eagles, A5's (new and old) Sx2,Sx4, maxus 2, versa max, 1100's, 1187's, stoeger's, all semi auto's, I don't have a thing for pumps, I know a lot of people like them and may prefer them over auto loaders bc they say there easier and that's fine, but I don't & wont own one fine for the ones who do there just not for me not for waterfowl or upland or even turkeys in my OPINION, say sitting in a stand deer hunting running some buckshot ehh I could see myself using one there if needed to but that's about it for me, ANYWAY I've used almost all these brand chokes in lots of diff threads and guns, now I will say I still do use Carlsons flush chokes for my Maxus 2 for doves, and sometimes buckshot when we do man drives or dogs, and still own a full set of cremators for inv +, and they were alright chokes, and yes I know there not say a actual ic, mod, full at least in inv + constrictions, a tru full in a inv + is .710 a cremator will be .715, tru mod is .720 cremator will be .725 and so on, they patterned good with every size steel, bismuth and lead I shot, but the pattern was way way to open for my liking, I've shot a full all my life for doves 5-60 yards, turkeys, deer, squirrel etc, I'm use to a full in good with it so me having less of a right pattern feels highly wrong to me and limits my range, but anyway tried out several of the other big brands and ones that did good with all shot sizes of steel, bismuth, lead (this is for say waterfowl mainly, like I said I do still use Carlsons flush for upland since all factory chokes that come with guns suck) were patternmaster code black duck, kicks high flyer, and I chose to stay with kicks brand for all around every game choke they offer in every shotgun I have that they make threads for, high flyer for waterfowl, gobblin thunder for turkeys, buck kicker for deer, and everything else I'll use my flush Carlsons for, I don't own all the listed guns above anymore that was over time, I now have 2 A5's (1 from 1971 Belgium light 12 and a new A5) and a Maxus 2 (shotgun wise) just recently got ride of my Sx4 waterfowl hunter and went and got a Maxus 2 hunter model, way better gun, tighter tolerances, more features, I shot a Japan A5 magnum 12 30" full all my life for everything so I'm use to it auto loading the first shell, and it's hard to get away from lol don't get me wrong a lot of game fell to that Sx4, but I chose kicks bc I love there product and Jake and his service to the customer and there price, tight consistent patterns closest POA to POI I could ask for, I use my new A5 for waterfowl and Maxus 2 for everything else so I do have specific uses for both of those guns, my old A5 light 12 is just a show piece it's in mint condition and has the prettiest furniture on it I've ever seen, striped in the wood like tiger wood, idk what wood it is but looks like tiger wood, so it stays in the safe but it's kicks for me, if kicks made a flush choke for all those brands I'd deff swap from Carlsons to kicks in a heart beat, but to each there own

Most people do use too much choke. Modified is what i use all the time and we shoot divers out to 45 yards at times. With steel a modified choke is considered a full choke pattern.

I patterned a full muller set against a carlson cremator (video results on my channel for those interested) and I can say with confidence: save your money and buy a carlson cremator set, they pattern essentially the same as a muller.
