- Bringing the LFA to a car show that included some tunnels along the way. What better environment to experience the acoustic perfection of the Lexus LFA? Special thanks to Craft Detailing for cleaning up the car in time for Art of The Automobile, and of course to @TeamChampagneNinjas for tossing the keys.

"A good driver sometimes misses a turn, a bad driver never misses a turn."
if you look closely, there's 4 people in that car including children. jesus christ
Used to live in Charlestown and that’s the exit I’d take to get off 93.
That is far from the first time I’ve seen someone make that dumb a move to get off that exit.
Why didn’t they just admit fault and turn off at next junction
pretty good driving tho lol
I don't get it, if you miss it - just miss it. Why do people risk their lives and their families lives, to try to not miss a turn?
I had to play the Tesla clip 4 or 5 times because I simply couldn't believe they made it. Menace to society
most tesla drivers are.
Tesla's are the the clean black air force and BMWs the worst looking most creased black air force
they even had 3 kids in the car
They didn’t make it, the company made the car that made it 🤣 the driver mostly sucks
@@micropens this is the dumbest comment I've ever read.
Pause at 8:58 - kids in the back of the Tesla, staring at the LFA. What kind of parent drives like that with their own kids aboard?
Just awful isn’t it?
@@TedwardDrives what’s his license plate did you report it ?
That's Massachusetts drivers for you unfortunately
Because he/she saw the kids were looking at the LFA and wanted to show them tesla is beast. 🤣😂✌️
@@CavenInToTheWorld is that a joke
Modifying an LFA with those horrific wheels should be a capital crime.
9:02 Couldn't just take the next exit huh
right? so upsetting to see a move like that with kids in the car
Eyyy ur here!
@@TedwardDrives Am curious did they pull that off in a toyota camry? Either way CPS needs to pay them a visit.
-nevermind it was a model 3
That situation reminds me of Louis CK talking about how some people drive.
Wtf did that Tesla do, if he hit that barrier he would of died🤨
Lmao imagine totaling a Tesla just so you don’t miss your exit 🤣 that was INSANE, absolutely insane
with children onboard...
Yeah how important can a destination be to do that stupid of a maneuver smh
@@doggedlydetermined7022 probably only like 5-10 min extra drive if driver would've taken next exit. No gotta risk your car and life.
I can’t believe they didn’t put it right into the wall! Their fancy stability control saved them
@@doggedlydetermined7022 Honestly I probably wouldn't have even done that by myself man. I'm never THAT dedicated to be somewhere Lol.
I love how people will risk their lives (and in this case, the whole families) just to not have to wait for one more exit, some people should not be allowed to drive.
Driving is definitely not a right. Licensing requirements should be strict in the US (Japan is a decent model)
@@MrCarGuy Not really. Germany is a better example. Extremely low crash rates and by extension mortality rates.
@@rainonedavid3564 Uh, what? Seriously, do you have any idea how lenient licensing requirements are in the US? If you are 18 or over you simply need to take a ludicrously easy written test (not remotely as easy or brief in Germany) and an equally as simple driving test. One of each, that's it.
In Germany there are many hours of training and studying to do to even qualify.
Japan is also nearly a full death lower per 100k registered vehicles than Germany. Not insignificant. If the US's licensing requirements were anywhere close to as strict Germany's it would be fine...
@@MrCarGuy "do you have any idea how lenient licensing requirements are" yes you doofus, I have a license in the US. And don't forget about the high speed limit highways in Germany that don't exist in Japan.
@@MrCarGuy and no, the written test is not, "ludicrously easy" clearly you haven't taken it
*tesla almost obliterates itself*
Tom: silence
You have one hell of a level head Tom, great video and have a great day man
“One hell of a level head” because he didn’t… yell alone in his car? Talk to himself? When he witnessed another driver almost crash?
How the hell does that make him have a level head? Any sane person can refrain from talking to themself (or talking to another car across a highway…?) after witnessing something dangerous.

What kills me about the Tesla driver is that it looked like (according to your rear view at around 8:47) that he could've gone in the slow lane and take the exit normally but he didn't do anything remotely close to that. That guy was an absolute maniac.
I couldn't even THINK of doing a manourver like that solo never mind with kids in the back seat.
He realised he needed to take the exit as he drove under the signs. The only crazy thing is that he was so close to not making it when he decided to go for it.
@@user-hr2zy7ct8h I shudder to think what would've happened if he didn't make it.
@@BKHD605 it's fucked up. Not to mention he probably gave that Corolla in front of him a heart attack as he swerved over.
He was trying hard to show off to the LFA going in the fast lane. What an ass
brooo that Tesla was a foot from smashing into that guardrail...what an insane maneuver...its ok to miss an exit
ESPECIALLY with kids in the car... wow
Haha the sad part is the exit the Tesla took and the next exit bring you to the same place basically. The first exit the Tesla took actually gets more congested with traffic so taking the next one would’ve saved him more time
not too many other cars wouldve made it lol
Ikr a foot and his kids are in the back seat too
@Veyronp87, probably blamed it on "Autopilot!! HONEST!!" -_-

9:02 Dude was probably looking behind him like IS THAT AN LFA!? and was about to miss his exit.

Tedward is also lucky to not get into an accident with that Tesla driver while driving a rare car.
Just found your channel, it’s great to see these cars being driven on my local roads. You actually passed me right after the cut at 12:14. As you’re talking about people not noticing the LFA, I was sitting at that light in the opposite direction and almost snapped my neck trying to get a better look at it. Thanks for giving me a little inadvertent show with the exhaust, made my day.
Dang your lucky i want to hear one in person so bad
If I were rich, I would buy one in a heartbeat if one popped up for sale. That exhaust note never gets old
@Aaphreee, yep it's music to the ears!
That Tesla driver should not be driving at all
The LFA sounds crazy.
Definitely one of the classic cars of the future. I love the LFA but I swear to god Lexus community is the worst. It’s worse than Tesla owners. They can’t handle criticism, even the person says good things about the car, they just ignore it. The person I’m talking about is Doug DeMuro. This past week he made a video on the IS 500 and the comments are full of haters saying BS things like he’s a “hater” and he’s “biased” towards Lexus, which is not true. Doug says that the LFA is the greatest sounding car ever. I wish Lexus community can calm the fuck down for once and touch grass. Doug getting hate is a normal thing, and it’s really sad for all the wrong reasons.
@@yungboicontigo9278 Exactly! Like they are saying that he didn’t acknowledge that it had a touchscreen… SEROUSLY?? A Toyota *Corolla* is available with a touchscreen. It’s not that big of a deal.
@@JamesConnor116 right. The tech on Lexus is slacking lmfao
Not as crazy as that tesla driver lmao
@@yungboicontigo9278 I mean he trashed the infotainment system on the IS500 by criticizing the touchpad (yes, we all understand that no one enjoys it, objectively it's a bad feature and every reviewer has overstated it a million times) without even acknowledging the fact that they did in fact update it to a touchscreen. Had any viewer watched the video without knowing that beforehand then people would be misinformed. The demographic of people that buy that car will also be enthusiasts who will primarily care about the fact it's a NA V8 engine with 472 horsepower, the last of a dying breed, the tech features aren't the selling point.
I love the fact that Tom had absolutely 0 words when the Tesla did their stupid maneuver, just, quiet bewilderment. Silent judgement.

9:08 Wow, he lucked out! His heart must’ve been POUNDING OUT OF HIS CHEST.
Driving an LFA on 93 is certifiably big balled
The LFA is beautiful… also for some reason, Tesla drivers tend to do that. Whether it be cutting people off at exits or accelerating to fuck with people because of their instant torque… some people shouldn’t have that power 🙃😂
@Jenn Psnakey I think the Tesla demographic just appeals to these sort of people. People want something quick and that’s how the use the torque. Have a friend who is an awful driver at 40 something and drives her Model 3 Performance like that
Acting like people who straight pipe their car and then go 120 mph on the highway aren't a bigger menace
Do you really think people driving fast on wide straight roads are worse than someone doing anything like what that Tesla did?
@@ElliWoelfin I'll go easy on you since you appear to not be a native English speaker, but I was referring to Tesla drivers as a whole.
@@rainonedavid3564 to be fair, I don’t think speed is an issue. It’s moreso maneuvering in and out of lanes, quick braking, etc. when other people are around. Trust me, I’ve seen my fair amount of Infiniti, BMWs, and others doing this on the freeway… but Teslas are also getting up there.
9:05 No way he controlled that! 😱
Actually the car was the one that controlled it...
Tesla has some of the most advanced traction control of any road car, it's pretty insane what they are capable of, more so with terrible drivers behind the wheel. The massive center of gravity weight they have also make them literally impossible to flip.
The plaid breaking the EV WR on the ring of hell is proof of the insane tech tesla has (even beyond some pedigree multi-million dollar racecars). You'd have to be stupid not to buy a tesla if you can afford one.
Facts
@@evolicious the fck are you talking about , their self driving is insanely over rated, they aren't built very well , their interiors are like a communist designed them , they aren't good looking, and who cares about the plaid on the ring its pretty much the only high performance production EV that's been on the ring, it beat a taycan with way less power .... wow ... impressive I'm surprised it did a lap without overheating. No it's you that is the stupid one
@@evolicious You have to be stupid not to buy one if you are a terrible driver like the guy in the video. But anyway you are right, teslas are really safe!
