I'm gonna tell yall something right here. I have been following Patti way,way,way way back. I'm talking bout before Lady Marmalade was even conceived. One thang I want everyone to know that don't know. When Debbie Henry gets to whaling and the spirit hits her,miss thing will put a yodel in your soul. She has had me get up and shouting many a time. Then there's mama Patti. Back in the day,say 30yrs ago,them two divas would completely blow the roof off the building they were singing in and just leave everyone's mouths opened,feeling overwhelmed with emotion. They still do right here. But back in the day, when Patti could hit ALL of those notes,my god. You just had to be there to experience it. Talkin bout taking you to church? Chile,you went there and developed a whole new layer of skin..called the goosebumps hahaha. These two were a force you couldn't break or touch. I hear them and think to myself,"Jennifer Hudson who?" Sshii ,you couldn't or even wouldn't dare to compare these two. And other artist didn't want to go on after Patti because the crowd had experienced divine intervention and you just couldn't possibly entertain them more. Haha I have the pictures,the autographs,and the memories. I have to say as of this date,I have witnessed the best back then and now. Go head on with yourselves Ms. Patti and Mrs. Debbie.
