A couple of notes for create mod: chassis are VERY helpful as you don't need to super glue everything together when making contraptions. Another note, The portable interfaces just count as chests when kissing so it would be better to wire them directly instead of the hoppers
you could also use chutes to get all of the things out at the same time

Also, you only really need one portable storage interface set, especially for a farm of that size I doubt all three of the interface pairs are used to transfer items each time it rotates, or rarely does. Either way, the extra interfaces aren't being used to their max potential and should be reduced to one set and save the others for other contraptions.

I'm glad your Husky is doing good it's always extremely terrifying when Pets have a medical emergency, I had an emergency a few months ago and couldn't get in for days even for an emergency and it was both frustrating and scary.
Don't sweat the delay just give her an extra hug or two from us and we will forgive any delay :heart emoticon:

Just a tip; you don’t need to use the Andesite Casings as the body of the machine. There are these blocks called Chassis that make it easier to grab large amounts of blocks at once, but all you really need is the Super Glue (which you can put Mending on btw) and any block you want

The reason why the tunnels only ever drop one item is because they always wait for the position where they drop off items to be empty before exporting the next item/stack, and cause the item drops on the ground and doesn't move they don't drop another one until something picks it up.
create tip 2:
Minecart contraptions are very picky about the mode you set them to the moment the cart assembler gets put down, for example the default mode is forward always so the contraption will turn to face the "forward" in line with the assembler no matter what.
You should create some type of check list using the custom paintings so that you don’t forget anything
That’s a great idea!
Rather than having multiple portable storage interfaces you could have had a single one with a chute below the stationary part that connects to a chest. The chute will take all the items from the minecart contraption before it moves on. I think it also would have worked with the funnel if the funnel had been outputting onto a moving conveyor belt, but that requires rotational energy so it's not as convenient.
Also, the reason your contraption was doing the single spin is because you assembled it in the wrong direction. The arrow on the top of the assembler indicates the front of the contraption and it will spin to make the front be in the direction of motion. You can scroll on the assembler with your wrench to change this behavior during assembly.
Hey Iskall! May I suggest that you create a sort of checklist next to your vault portal for your vault runs? This could ensure that you always bring your luck chestplate, soul shard pouch, etc.

You forget at least one important thing in literally every single vault run. I think at this point it's clear you need a checklist somewhere on a lectern or something.
This series just flies past, it's been so enjoyable. I can't play VH, so getting to experience secondhand excitement from good vaults like the double treasure chest one is just really great.
Also I hope your dog recovers well, and enjoy pampering them! Don't worry about episode schedule, as long as you and your family are well!

Hi Iskall, during your last stream you talked about how you want to limit the number of eternals you can own to 3,5 or even 10. I propose that instead of having a basic recipe you instead have 9 unique cryochamber channels that require a cluster of each of the unique player gems. These will be single craft items and perhaps they can even have special abilities depending on which gem the eternal was crafted with.
Iskall, I BLOOMIN love this series. every episode is so quirky and fun to watch, and you produce them at a good rate to squeeze loads of content into each one. THANK YOU!

For farm item collection you can place a chute under the portable storage which drops the items on the ground and have a hopperhock (Botania) pick them up and put them in different drawers.
The reason why the Mr. Saw was spinning is because you built it backwards on the assembler. U also only need one interface just need to extract from it using a conveyor
Hey Iskall! I think, that if you already spent the echo pog on the farm, you should maximize some more, why don't you just make the rail longer, and put trees on the sides, I think mechanical saws can cut them down as well.
One of my favorite uses for minecart assemblers.. moving spawners. You can take it a step further, using wireless redstone, you can setup the spawner minecart with assembler, then use the redstone to toggle it between contraption/solid block. That makes an on/off switch for your spawner.
The spining is because the cart assembler assigns a forward direction, and relative to that your contraption is backwards. insert it into a cart assembler to make adjustments. Look for the arrow on top of the assembler item. You can rotate the assembler (immersive engineering hammer comes in handy for this).
From Create 0.3.2 patch notes:
Cart Assemblers now have a specific direction.
Assembled cart contraptions assemble and disassemble according to the assembler's direction.

I really like this type of episode, with some vaults and some farm building/general vh stuff. The pacing is really fun.
It's been a long time since I clicked on a video as soon as I got the notification and I don't really ever find myself going out of my way to watch streams but for this series I do. You're doing such an amazing job and I'm so excited for VH 1.18

You can directly connect importers to portable storage interface. And also set filters foe like tree farms etc. This will save you some hopper cloggings.
Also its very easy to get blazing thermo generators. So id recomend that. You get around 300 fe from 1 thermo gen. And spirited is even crazy. Just make sure to have some alexandride and vault nuggets.

18:37 I prefer to put hundreds of buckets in a dank for collecting void liquid that way you can gather literally all of it into one dank slot, also something I accidentally discovered it's perfectly safe to fall Into the void liquid when the timer hasn't started yet
You should add a option when you start a world to turn on regular recipes for all the modded stuff
You can attach the importers directly to the portable storage interface for mr saw. Don't need the funnels.
The reason mr.saw was rotating at the start was you probably used your mouse scroll wheel on the cart assembler while holding the create wrench. The cart assembler has a setting that is changed that way that effects how the carts it makes handle where they face . One of the settings makes it rotate so the same "front" always faces the same x or z coord.
When you resembled him that fixed it because you probably replaced the cart assembler in-between as the default setting is the one where it rotates so the "front" of the cart is always rotated to the direction it is going rather then a specific x or z coord.

For the sugar cane you can use rocky dirt you can double the amount as you don't need water with it
Mr. Saw just reminds me of that one video where the guy puts a spinning fan on top of a roomba and attaches actual blades to the blades of the fan. Very dangerous indeed!

Iskall you can connect the system cabbles directly to the portable storage interface, you dont need the hopper and the brass funnel at all

Excellent content as always. So sorry to hear about your dear dog, it is hard when that happens but so glad your husky is doing better now.
Wanted to mention that you can use the wrench to change the settings on the minecart assembler (hold wrench in your hand, hover over the side of the minecart assembler and use scroll wheel to change) and you can use that to toggle between default (faces direction of travel) and locked rotation (always faces the same way no matter what the minecart is doing).
This would prevent the spinning of Mr. Saw if you ever need to do that for a future contraption. Also you only technically need one portable storage interface, so if you ever need to for sake of materials, you can re-use two of them for other contraptions in the future. I like to use a chute on the bottom of the receiving interface for the fastest unloading of all materials at once.
Oh and you can also use a Create directional rail to get the cart started/bounce back and forth without having to give it a nudge

This series is so good and iskall releases so many episodes that I never don’t have something to watch
It spins slowly so it doesn't chop the ones near the "kiss"
add a bit more room so it could spin completely
Few tips for create, I'm sure there are already plenty of them:
-Andesite Casing isn't a good block to build minecart contraption as they are "expensive" (or at least usefull elsewhere).. You should use chassis instead.
-Personnal Storage Interface will empty the whole inventory, no need for 3 PSI in one contraption (+ you won't have to use 3 export bus and thus you'll have more energy)
-Also output PSI can directly be drain by the export bus as they have inventory (or use a chute and a double chest if you're worried about capacity)
-You can disable minecart's rotation in the Minecart Assembler with the wrench
-Add some chest to your contraption because you're losing items on the floor
@iskal85 use a Chute instead of the Funnel and Hopper (the chute acts as both) and to lower the RF consumption, you can throw everything in a storage drawer then just use an External Storage connector to detect the storage drawers

Tip on the contraption: You only need to provide saws across the left (or right) side of the cart. When it turns around it'll do the other side as well :)
You can loop the road for the cart and use both fields by simply adding chests to the structure. And also funnels can directly get objects from connectors.
Can we appreciate how Iskall instead of using the vanilla farms of bamboo sugarcane and cacti uses a freaking ECHO POG to make a create contraption for satisfaction…😊

Also! You can fill buckets with void liquid from a dank in construction mode. Next time you build a vault, if you put buckets and void liquid in Mr Gank you can get waaaaaay more. I also used a ring of far reach and a reach totem and I basically emptied the entrance room. Got 512 😁 Although I was disappointed to discover that it doesn’t store well in drawers so I just keep it in an extra dank 1 I got from a mod box.

I would've made a joke about Mr. Saw, but you guys probably *saw* that coming a mile a way.
Carts have a "front" which is why your contraption kept turning around. You placed everything on the back. Putting the cart back on arranged it so the it was correct, which is why it suddenly worked.
There is a setting with the cart assembler that makes it so the cart doesn't spin when changing directions. I also agree with most of the comments saying either connect the import busses directly or use chutes.
In the Create mod alone at least, Minecart assemblies can be used to move spawner blocks, so if you ever need to make a mob farm it's good to keep in mind. Not sure if you were aware of this functionality and tweaked it for Vault Hunters, but if it exists it's super useful
Yeah, I think it's configured out. If I recall from when I played, you could put spawners on carts, but not pick the cart up, meaning you can move the spawners, but only along a rail, and not interdimensionally (I was trying to create a blaze farm in the overworld)

A lot of people have given tips for create but I'm not seeing enough of this one: the cart assembler has settings which can be selected with a wrench, including not rotating. Also the reason it was facing backwards all the time is because it was set to face the direction of movement and you built it backwards. It's not "turn when the minecart turns" it's "turn when the minecart moves in a direction different to the assembler"

hey iskall!! create lover here! so. firstly. create mod adds chassis blocks which are alot easier to use for moving contraptions, linear chassis are what you want for minecart contraptions. secondly, the portable storage interface can put things into a chest connected to it if needs be. I hope this helps
