    *Works so well **Fastly.Cool** that it only requires daytime operation until high temp and humidity are overnight. It is difficult to get to side filters, but back is easily accessible.*

    Remember that Lowes does price matching, I always check around other places online before buying something big, saved quite a bit that way.

      Why is it cheaper to ge the stronger btu? I never got that. I got the 14k BTU 500 sq. Feet for $499 but the 12k BTU 400 sq. Feet is $549? Something is not right here.

      Uriel Septim I saw that too, I think it has to do with the perks it comes with, one I think is louder than the other and has internet app capabilities.

      @@MexicoTijuana741 well the 500 square feet is far better than having fancy perks.

    500 square feet is for two rooms right? Going to buy it to cool my living room and my room by leaving my door open. Thank you!

    I have this same one !! Had it for a year so far ! But now it’s now cooling the room ! I clean the vents every week ,it’s properly placed right thru window ! But it’s staying the temperature of my living room which is at 91!!! We feel the cool air coming out of the machine . But it’s still not cooling living room which is about 400 sf. Idk what’s wrong with it ! 🥵

    • @johnbrown3947

      I found it works best in a bedroom. In a closed off space. I had to sit on top of it in the living room which was an open space with the kitchen.

  • @joseph6948
    @joseph6948 Před 2 lety +2

    I have the same one...it works well in a studio apartment..400 sq ft. In a single bedroom, it would freeze my balls! Lol

    I’m not sure if the person who created this tutorial knows all the functions this ac unit has. If you just bought this I would immediately return the unit because the front display is broken. Right below the swing is a circular black display and I didn’t see the one in the video turn on!! Second I’m pretty sure your device was a callback or the refurbished line up because al those units have bad network cards in them!! Good luck dude

    How to find out when it needs draining?

  • @TheJcGlobal

    Hi friend, what is the period to drain the water? I have the same in my room.

    • @johnbrown3947

    How quiet is the portable AC?

    • @johnbrown3947
      @johnbrown3947  Před 3 lety

      Its not that quiet. It's noiser than a window unit. I bought it out of desperation. My ac in my apartment was out in July and August so I didn't mind the noise at all.

    • @johnbrown3947
      @johnbrown3947  Před rokem

      About an hour to cool down a bedroom. But if you're in an open space you have to sit right on top of it to stay cool

    Too damn loud for me and it never got cold enough on a second story bedroom like maxed out to like maybe 74 degrees when it was 95+ outside

    • @EnchantedSmellyWolf
      @EnchantedSmellyWolf Před 4 lety

      Did you use the ceiling fans to oscillate? The cool winds needs guidance to go elsewhere. As for having a two story house you may need to relocate it in tour house which would be a bother and dangerous because of the weight.

    • @RahzAlGhul
      @RahzAlGhul Před 4 lety

      Uriel Septim don’t have a ceiling fan lol anyways I sold it when I wrote this comment just using regular central cooling now for the whole house

    • @EnchantedSmellyWolf
      @EnchantedSmellyWolf Před 4 lety

      @@RahzAlGhul oh well that helps. Ha! I wish I had a central ac unit. I used to had one in my old house in the 90's. Still, this works so well. With ceilings or the mobile fans.

    Do not , I repeat do not buy. It is $530, if it is more than 2 years, it’s just dead plastic. No service at all. If less than 2 years they will replace but after that they will do NOTHING for you, not even to recommend who to get it fixed. My guess it is only suppose to last little over two years. Save your money
