Thank you for the thorough review of these shoes. My last $18 pair of Brahma steel toes lasted two years. My $112 fancy European "Salomon" hiking boots lasted six months. If you buy fancy hiking boots, buy Merrell. Even walking asphalt five miles a day, they lasted two years before falling apart. However, I need new work shoes and you've sold me on these.

Worked here from 2008-til 2016. They finally closed in March 2017. Met lots of wonderful people here over the years. Rose's has taken its place now.

Thanks for posting about Kenny’s in the ‘burg! I grew up eating there but only on special occasions. We were poor (but didn’t know it). We called it Kenny Burgers back then. Their fried biscuits are the bomb! Wash it all down with a Cherry soda. Mmmm brings back good memories. 😋
