Good video, got my 🦅, decided to go the opposite way and cut a inch 1/2 strip from the middle of the pad and just bring the front and back closer , granted I didn’t want the red plastic behind the pad so that size difference didn’t matter but good craftsmanship! Looks awesome! , it’s crazy how much $ you can save by just doing projects like this with inexpensive material, such a good feeling when done

It was really simple I just cut the middle off and then glued the two pieces together . You got a S22?
This is what I am thinking of doing. Will it still work if you keep the red backing on it? I don't have an s22 yet but I thought this might work
@@willstuart6666 yeah I kept the red backing and just pushed the new shorter pads so they lined up with the front of the red backing, then cut off the back of the red part so it’s level with the shorter design, looks brand new , not too challenging but I also threw some baby foam over the top of the pad so there is more padding and depth on the pad since I think it’s too shallow so take that into consideration

Great solution, if the tools are available. I'd probably remove the pads entirely and use other one's. Also looking forward to you experience and comparison to the Master.

Good job on mod, i do agreed keeping stock S22 pads, I seen peoples remove them and put different pads, it is just not the same look!
The sliders on this wheel are a disaster we have only road a couple days and a few miles in a gravel rail trail and the sliders are not working as they did .
We put some lithium grease on them it didn't help for very long until they got Dusty again.
Dad design idea from KS and that's my favorite wheel company 🤔 was.
Inmotion V12 blows it away. Sherman Max for range ✌️ keeping it wheel 👊

Good feedback. My sliders are still hanging in there but I know it's not the best design
interesting how different riding styles can be, I had to remove the boomerang because I had to move the top pad extra forward.
Maybe because you're an extreme leaner...

Hey I have a few questions I would like to discuss with you about the s22 perhaps over a phone call?
Ohhh you making a vid on the foot pads later? Those things were not comfortable and digging into my heel so I chopped off the backside and just have the front foot slit to grab the shoe , works just fine , but the boomerang keeps the pad too high so that looks a lil off , Great videos!

S22's suspension is awesome but they still need to redesign the suspension rods and increase the suspension travel since people are still bottom-out. However, e-suspension is here with V13. Its a leap above any ebikes suspension. E-suspension adapted to any terrains and riders, still need data for jumps and how much suspension travel would be the key victor in suspension area.
My guess is the V13 will be electric pre settings. Not self adjusting on the fly.
@@hatemale1609 Go search up what is an electronic suspension. All current suspension systems on the market for EUC are preset.
I doubt anyone will increase the range, this is pretty extreme as is, and there is no rods per say but awkward exposed channels and plastic guides/slides... Never seen channels used in a suspension before...

Amazingly you still can :-) Interesting fact; although Acetone smells like it'll kill every cell in your body it's actually a very inert chemical regards the body.

LMAO, cutting foam with a band saw? A contraption with a nikelin wire and a small battery put together in few minutes would be a hundred times better, SAFER (for your fingers), and wont make any crumbs (which are impossible to get rid of, they go everywhere and you will still find them after months, regardless of the vacuum cleaner or other magic you use to clean them).
