I've got several Bibles with zero writing in, and I rarely look at them. My 'go to' Bible is the same as Wendy's except mine is NIV and hers is NLT, but looks the same, and full of notes. I'm in it every day.

Aww... your bible is so beautiful and Chloe will treasure it always, too! Just a suggestion: if/when you get your bible rebound, maybe they or you can turn your current bible cover into a journal cover. (even if only the front half?) I know you love journals, too and it might be a nice way to conserve the cover of your precious bible.

I have a few different translations that I use. I started with a new king James and then switched to an esv, niv and am currently using the nlt. I like to see how different passages are translated.

I usually take this one when I travel. BUT - I do have a different one I take to church with me!

Be careful who you’re listening to. Don’t live in a spirit of fear of man. You find a translation that is accurate and that is understandable to you, and dig in!!!
