      I was think of something similar, albeit much simpler and cheaper, as a step-up feature for online sellers.
      Basically it would be an internet-operated camera meant for inspecting watches for people interested in buying but not happy with just photos.
      You know, reserve a 5-10min spot so you can check the state of the watch live so you can make better decision. Rotate and move as much you want to see everything.
      Also (perhaps a good marketing idea) you could put it in some Patek museum type place so that people could see all the awesome pieces without going to Switzerland. Huge shows could too ease people check out the novelties that way.
      Btw, what would be the price for that mini set up of yours? Did you consider renting?
