"The beautiful one" makes my heart sing as my father never referred to our mother without the beautiful preceding the word Mother. If only all men expressed this sentiment their lives would be far greater. Thank you! I miss this so much and your teaching your children how to be happy - love it!

Justin, maybe you all should make a sand bed for the cats to dump in? It appears they are just taking advantage of the raised bed, because it is close to the home and has spots for them to poo in. Make a nice sized sand box, and put Catnip plant in the box to attract them to it.

I had 2 Pyrenees sisters with a heard of goats and I wouldn't have been the least bit afraid for the dogs or the goats if a bear wondered to close. These dogs are sweet and loving, but if a threat is close very, very vicious. Just my personal experience, so please be nice everyone.

My husband and I have 20 acres, we’ve had it for about 10 years now. And now we’re in our planning phase of what we want to do with it. This summer, I plan on spending a few days there during the week and weekends raising chickens and trying my hands at gardening in raised beds. I’m excited!! Most importantly I’m looking forward to hands on learning through trial and error.

The connection I had to that land and my ancestors was amazing! While I do not get to live my dream of being the next gen farmer of family land. Thanks for taking additional time to share your POV. I, unfortunately, didn’t come away with much.
I my humble opinion; you’d have made a larger impact had you been conversing, teaching and learning from Jonah & Josiah in this video-
    Cheers!

Wow ~ your homestead living is very inspiring! I just bought a 10 acres land in Arkansas this February 2023 and accidentally I came across with your vlog. Now you give me insights, skills & knowledge how to start to clean & till my land. My plans to grow organic vegetation & raising organic livestock. Than’x a lot for sharing your expertise & knowledge to us. Really appreciate it! I just subscribed in your utube channel. My FiancĂ© & I are your big fan. Goodluck & Happy Farming 🍀

What I really liked about the video is that when you were out of sight of your LGD, she followed you until you were back in the open. Great informative video and to see better how everything was connected. I might not be able to do all that you do but I am able to do a garden and will be buying my meat organically raised.

    Hi,Justin.
I am in the process of starting a legacy for my family, my grandchildren. You are so right. My hope, one day, they will be walking in the areas where I sweat, where I endured the pain, fatigue working in our land.

A Bad A** video and overall of your current setup, a culmination of 15 years of intensive learning and sharing. My family appreciates you and your family's effort to share what you do and how you do it. Though we live in the desert southwest, so much of what you teach is applicable to our environment because permaculture principals know no boundaries! Thank you for sharing your "Abundance +" of knowledge and talent.

For the problem with cats in beds, try putting dry bushes and twigs in the ground. It helped me.
They usually don't feel like crawling through them to get to the ground, and the plants don't mind.
