Land Based Shark Fishing

The Penn Senator 12/0 had a solid run right at sunset. After fighting the fish for 15 minutes we pulled a 5-6ft Blacktip shark on the sand!

What hooks do you use I use 16/0 circle hooks and sharks keep getting off

This rig had a 20/0 circle hook. I use 9/0 to 20/0

How successful are you in catching sharks off the beach when you go? Catch one every time?

Yeah, it depends on the time of year. Lately we have been putting 1-2 sharks on the sand every night.
