- Dr. Joe Schwarcz, director of McGill University's Office for Science and Society, talks about Scho-Ka-Kola, a highly-caffeinated chocolate introduced in 1936 for German athletes in competing in the Berlin Olympic Games. (John Mahoney / MONTREAL GAZETTE)
I just bought 80 cans for $2.90 per can in the US with shipping. Amazon is about double to triple that.
Where did you buy them?
Merci beaucoup Dr. Schwarcz.... your presentations are always fun & entertaining
there's a blue tin as well on ebay. i think the red is dark chocolate and the blue is regular milk chocolate
Very interesting and informative. As always, great video. Thank you!
It has less caffeine than a cup of coffee only 12.5mg in a piece. Regular coffee 8oz is usually 90mg of caffeine. A can of Coca Cola is about 50 mg
The can says 8 pieces is about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. So the whoele can is two coffees.
Good suppliment just to awaken us during War Room board games...
(1 day and 4 hour play time, and plus minus 1 to 45 min for break)
It is a delicious chocolate. Too bad it is so expensive in the States.
Currently eating some. Great stuff.
Try the benzedrine!
