The goal was to keep the speed of the Audi while having improved off-road performance; as we all know, the Audi is quite disappointing in that department. To achieve this, I swapped out the independent suspension for a long travel live axle suspension; drastically improving the articulation, which enhanced the grip available to the tires. I also connected the front and rear axles unlike the Audi to avoid the rear motor stalling problem.
The model can be powered the buwizz 3.0 pro and the Technic hub as well. I did a lot of testing and this finally version is probably the fifth iteration 😅.
I also managed to squeeze in some seats which I was quite happy about.
This is definitely a model I'm considering making instructions for if there is enough demand. If you are interested let me know in the comments.

I received the Audi set for Christmas, but waited a month before I built it... I had seen some MOCs from the set that looked better, but couldn't pick one. This looks really good but it would be interesting to see how well it performs with the stock Lego motors.

Definitely interested in buying instructions - great work! Whats the top speed you've achieved with this model given the offroad improvements ? are you running buwizz motor + power hub or a combination of buwizz and lego technic hub?
Top speed would be around the same as the Audi
I'm running the motors that come with the set but powering them and controlling them is the buwizz 3.0
