    For those of you who are as confused as I was, this tool has been moved to the "Create Layouts" dropdown in Hatch 3.

    Thank you so much for your clear instructions. It seems that you said there were other Hatch Videos, but I cannot find them. I did subscribe but am getting other software.

      Probably because this was the first one and I hadn't gotten more done yet! ;->

    When u were in create outlines u either want to click on top portion to create a outline or u would click the offset on bottom. By doing both u created 2.

      Thanks for sharing that here. Someone else did point that out and I corrected in video 3 but I forgot to come back and add it here. Still getting oriented!

    Thanks so much for Hatch tutorials, I have your book and your Crafty classes but Im new at embroidering and I just bought Digitizer from Hatch and I don´t know how can I manage the density. Can you make any tutorial about that? Also will be great if you are able to make a tutorial about the bird you used as an example on Crafty, in order to make it on hatch.

      What specifically about the bird are you interested in? I use Hatch for digitizing but Embrilliance is much better at editing and working with stitch files. Hatch works best with "native" files.

      Hello, thank you for reply my questions. I am interesting in how you digitize your bird and the beautiful and artistic layers of color in It. Can I make something like this bird in Hatch? Today I had read 8 chapters of your amazing book. The chapter of density is so good, and in the sale terms and mesures of my software, so I can understand finally how I can manage it. Thanks for sha re your knowledge. Sorry for my english, I have to learn more this too. :) I´m from Venezuela and I am a spanish spoker.

      Don't worry about your English - I only speak 1! I've forgotten most of my 6 years of French in school and I only know enough Spanish to order at Taco Bell (a fast food chain restaurant).. The bird has no special big special effects in it and it could easily be done in Hatch. Watch it run in slow motion and you can see how the different stitches are placed and layered. This one wasn't done in Hatch so you can't see any EMB file. Once you get more familiar with your software and how stitches are placed, it becomes easier to see how someone created a design - especially if you have a file you can poke around in.

    What if I don’t have the create outlines and offsets option?

    Will all the fonts I have installed on my computer show up here in Hatch under Lettering and Fonts?

    • @LindeeGVideos
      @LindeeGVideos  Před 6 lety

      The ESA (ready-made for embroidery) will show up first and then the computer fonts. I'm not sure if only installed TrueType fonts display or if all installed fonts display.

    Will this technique work in Stitch Artist3 as well?

    • @LindeeGVideos
      @LindeeGVideos  Před 7 lety

      It's easier in Stitch Artist because you can bring in TTF characters as artwork without it applying stitches. Plus SA can apply instant appliques to artwork. I think in Hatch you have to retrace the object for instant applique. Plus, this is so basic in SA that you can do it in level 1 in about 5 seconds: Click the TT tool, type your letter, click the satin tool, and set the applique attributes.
