Would love to see you do a series where people send you pics of a space they want to decorate and you help them with your fab ideas!!
That’s a good idea 👍👍
Yes!!!
Yes
Yes!!!!
Omg yes please
Those bedrooms are beautiful. However living in an apartment I would like to see you design a master bedroom on a more realistic scale for the rest of us.😉
Great idea!
Agree
That would be great! I've never had a huge bedroom like the ones shown here. I love looking at them, they do inspire me but my rooms are on such a smaller scale and I'm not good picturing these designs on a much smaller scale.
I concur!!!
Not sure why you talk interior design when your own space lacks any sort of design or style. All I see are
Bland white backgrounds in your videos.
Nobody asked but let’s get Arvin to 100k subscribers😎
You guys are the best !!!!
Yess!! You should do a calab with Brad Mondo and Hyram!!
I would subscribe twice if I could!
Oh it will happen no doubt!

I love the relaxing peaceful neutral tones and the way that everything flows together. It has to be easy on the eyes because the bedroom needs to be peaceful and relaxing
Wow, that last one was really something special! I know everyone loves neutrals because they're really timeless, elegant, soothing, but I'd love to see more content about colourful spaces!
Nobody asked but...Arvin, I think this might have been the best decor video yet! Your explanations were clear and spot on! And, while these bedrooms were obviously built around high end pieces, it would not be difficult to find similar pieces with the same scale and vibe - because YOU showed and pointed out what made each element important in each respective room. I think my favorite was the Amber Lewis bedroom. Your evolving confidence, knowledge and approachability have really increased since you first started do these!! Bravo! (you can tell I REALLY enjoyed this post!)
Love the mirrors behind the bedside tables. I might be doing this soon! The chair in the last bedroom was unbelievable! So good!
This is one of my all time fav uploads. Your design knowledge is impeccable. I learn something every time I watch! 👌🏾
I just discovered your CZcams channel this week and have to say I absolutely love you! I adore your style and personality. Keep shining!!
I love the way you describe things!!!!! I could listen to you talk all day.
Really like the way you break it down and highlight the learning from each!
Yes! My husband builds all of our wood furniture. It saves so much money and we can invest in higher end pieces to decorate with.
Nobody asked but, Can we get a low cost way to design our bedrooms?? Single mom style!!.
Once you figure out your style, there are plenty of places/ways to trim your decorating budget and still get the overall aesthetic you desire. When I was decorating my apartment, I pretended money wasn't an issue and I collected images of complete rooms and items that were my vibe. From there, I simply shopped online and at places that had very similar things on a budget, while still paying attention to quality. Also, don't be afraid to buy 2nd hand when it comes to decorative accent pieces, wall art, vessels, certain types of furniture, etc. Personally, the only things I wouldn't buy 2nd hand would be mattresses, decorative pillows, and upholstered furniture due to fear of bedbugs. I know plenty of people of all budgets who go to tag sales and estate sales that are in upper-middle class zipcodes where you can find some really fab and unique pieces for a fraction...also 2nd hand stores/goodwills in the better neighborhoods too. Same goes for the off-price stores, shop at the stores in your area where the average household salary is much higher than your own. I easily do this by doing an online search on demographic statistics of zipcodes that are 20 miles if not closer to where I live.
Also if you're on a tight budget for whatever reason, do not rush to buy everything at once. I've known several people who were on a limited budget for whatever reason (early in their career, tons of college loans, single parent, etc) and because they rushed to buy everything just for the sake of having something, they ended up with a bunch of stuff they weren't in love with...or many things that were cheaply made and were not forever pieces...or the overall items they bought just weren't cohesive looking once placed within their space. Don't be afraid to take your time. When I got my 1st apartment by myself, I literally took a few months to discover my style from collecting images and window shopping, and over a year getting everything I wanted. I only buy quality, but I like a bargain, so my place has mostly bargains with several luxe items. But when it was said and done, I can honestly say it was worth the wait and I literally LOVE every item I own, all the way down to the little things. Also, don't hesitate to do research on the construction of the particular items you need to buy. Educating myself when it came to the different types of quality fabrics and threadcounts of bedding and towels, furniture pieces, or the different types of silver plating when it comes to silverware (yes, there are major differences in the 13/0 silver plating of that $19.99-$24.99 20-piece forks/spoons/knives set at Burlington, Walmart, or Target as opposed to that 18/10 silver plating set that you may score at HomeGoods/TJs/Marshall's for $34.99). This has ultimately helped me to save money in the long run because I am buying less items less frequently, all while being of really great quality.
I love to thrift & mix old with new.. Diy projects are fun to do I would recommend Drew from Lonefox here on CZcams.

I agree. To me, the best decorated spaces are ones that mix high & low, old & new, coupled with something that represents items or hobbies that you're passionate about...all while looking of quality. I think it's great when you walk into someone's home and off the bat, there's something about it where you know you're in that person's home by the way they decorated it. An apartment/house should never look like a cookie-cut of a furniture showroom...whether Ikea, Restoration Hardware, ZGallery, etc...adding your personal flavor to it is a must.
I know that due to what's currently going on, being on a budget is especially crucial...but I honestly feel within the next year or two that it will take the US economy to fully get back on its feet, you will be able to score plenty of great home decor items from the 2nd hand market and off-price. Many people within the past year and even now have been forced to sell items that are still in good condition because they moved, had to downsize to a smaller space, or they lost their jobs so they need quick cash. Then you have the people who are financially comfortable who suddenly are able to work from home and they've decided to fully redecorate an entire room or their entire house. Then for off-price retailers, even though there are many items that are specifically made for those types of stores, department stores are still cutting back their inventory of brands due to slower sales, which gives the off-price corporate retail buyers the chance to snatch up last minute excess inventory that fashion and home decor companies have already had manufactured and need to get rid of.
@@ktg8670 yes so true!
have a signature colour or colour pallette. then you can find peices that always tie into your existing peices.
Your ability to set the stage and critique the designs our refreshing and inspirational.
Can you make a video on how to make a tiny bedroom looks luxurious! I have a very small bedroom and I find it hard to decorate it.
I had the same problem so moved out a dresser that was taking up floor and visual space on a small wall. Have two small dressers flanking the bed and a small footstool at the end of the bed, it works and I still have plenty of storage space! Good luck!
My room is so hard. A previous tenant made a huge built in desk (like 3 metres long) which goes along one wall under the windows. One wall is taken up with built in closet. And the doorway has a sliding door which takes up half of another wall. The ceiling is low and mouldy. The landlord is supposed to be replacing it since they've replaced the leaking roof.

mirrors, minimal (visual) clutter, and multi-purpose furniture help a lot!
Get rid of your dresser and get the bed with drawers under the mattress.
Love #1. Easy on the eyes and inviting you to have a good restful sleep. I agree that an art piece is needed above the bed.
Literally just saved the first bedroom you shared on Pinterest last night! My home decor style has definitely evolved ever since I found your channel
Oh yes love it !!!! 🥰🥰🥰
My decor style 🤣 changed too since I started following Arvin. I had so many breakables 😅 mirrors, glass, crystal lamps, etc. Girl, the upkeep costs more than the decor.
I have added the long mirrors above the nightstand...added light to the room
jen’s bedroom is hands down my fav!🤤😍
I was literally looking through your channel yesterday for videos like this. Thank you for this upload! 💗
Athena’s no doubt is my favourite. Just breathtakingly beautiful, eclectic, peaceful.
I love the clean look of ivories and whites and neutrals. The first bedroom without anything above the bed makes a statement to me. A piece of art would detract from its beauty. I also love the curved chair from the next to last photo but I especially love you Arvin. I love seeing what you wear and love that you speak respectfully yet keeping your words and thoughts genuine, informative, and humorous! You are a light!
Here’s one thing I must say about trends, they’re just that, trends. And as we know, trends go away. Do something with your bedroom that speaks to you. Add a little bit of something trendy, something traditional, something chic, something old, and voila. Best yet, it’s your space, create it however you want it ♥️
Lee, Amen!
I totally agree.
This is why I loved that minimal room. Its nice having a neutral "base" to work with and then you can play around with the decor and artwork so you're not constantly replacing your expensive big peices
Exactly ! You will waste so much money if you keep following trends ... at some point, people should know who they are and what world they relate to be it fashion, home decor, etc....
I see these as more classic timeless trends though…. So they never really go out of style. For me, natural texture, rattan, wicker, bamboo is my signature, so this trend if you will works.
I’m going to add a mirror I have in another room to my bedroom nightstand today! Thank you, love your channel!
Just loved this chapter !
Gorgeous silk pieces ❤ love the variation of looks for a lux styled bedroom. Great tips that can be implemented for a gorgeous look.
You are giving me Hugh Hefner fives with that ensemble love it and I love the color
Omg ty it’s my fav color right now !!!!
Wow, what an excellent compilation Arvin, loved it and hoping you can make more of such videos!
I can't get enough of your videos, your my favorite designer! Thanks for your help!
I love the "nobody asked but". Makes me trust you 😃 Love your channel, interesting, balanced and helpful.
Yesssss ive been looking for a few months for the right size mirrors/metal to go behind night stands in my spare room. Thanks for letting me know i had the right mindset. 😊😍
I learn so much from your explanations of what makes a room great! Thank you!
I do love the mirrors above the night stands.
I’m loving that curvy chair in Athena’s bedroom!
Your mannerisms make me laugh every video! Great advice as always, I’m a huge fan!
I found you from Gretchen’s channel and omg thank GLOB. I needed you in my life. Thank you for making this quality content!!!
I just want to know how your so on point with everything all the time? Your makeup is flawless even in your pjs bro.
I didn't have a favorite room. I did however love something in each room. I do love how to call out design choices that you think are silly. ❤️
I love that rug at the end!!
Absolutely love you Arvin!
I completely agree with you! Athena is masterful in creating very unique and artistic spaces.
I like this style of video. It gave a variety of styles in different places and you were able to chill in one place plus stay safe from covid19. 😷
My favorite bedroom designs were the Shea McGee and the RH cloud bed!!! I loved the first one just wished it had something over the bed because I hate dead spaces!!! I was heavily inspired by RH and Pottery Barn for my bedroom look in my apartment. Love your channel Arvin Olano, I so relate to you on all of your videos!!!
YES!! Athena's room is fantastic. Great ideas. I am going to try some of her ideas.
Love you and your videos. Insightful analysis
More videos like this please of every room in a house. thanks Arvin fo being so wonderful!
I’ve recently discovered your channel and so glad I did. I’m redoing some rooms in my home and appreciate learning more about quality design. My favorite bedroom is Athena’s. Thank you for sharing
Nearly 100k subs! CONGRATS Arvin
That tiny vessel behind you is just extremely adorable 🥰 ...I need it in my life 😩
My go to fabric! Arvin, you have outdone yourself, theme and all.
Not that you asked, but LOVING your videos! The great thing abouT discovering you a bit late is that I can just binge your videos! We just bought the home of our dreams and are planning our interiors, so perfect timing!
Loved everything about this! Thank you
The name 'Arvin Olano' just sets one up for a life of fame, prosperity, success, etc. Love u
HELLO Arvin, love love your ideas thank you for sharing and explaining the designs.
You are amazing and a huge help when it come to decorating my new Lake house.
I love when you say nobody asked it just makes me smile and continue to watch 💗
The two RH bedrooms and the Studio McGee bedrooms were my favorites. Thanks for another great video.
I m liking the no headboard look... And the the last bedroom -love this curated space...
THE LAST BEDROOM CHAIR LOOKS ART DECO. THE WOODEN BED TABLE ( AFRICAN LOOK ) AND THE RUG WAS AMAZING.
Oh my God..I really love it when Arvin say.. "bye everyone"..makes me want to watch more of his videos
I adore all of your videos! I love your passion for design and you are so knowledgeable. Your videos give me so much great inspiration for my home! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I shopped two HomeGoods stores yesterday and thought to myself "what would Arvin say about this vessel?" Thank you again. Kerry :)
I continue to see things differently. Really makes me think about my rooms.
i like the " no body asks" part its so unique and brilliant :) , because tonz of youtubers keeps saying that they got many questions about thsi and that .
I think this style of video should be a series, not just specific to bedrooms obviously. I really appreciate the tips and how they can be adapted for any design aesthetic.
Yes, silk pillowcases...are the best!
Love the fabric on the 2nd bedroom’s bench.
It was great right?
I love a good mirror behind the side tables and the studio McGee was wonderful and so was the bedroom with no pic above the bed ❤️
Thank you for sharing. Interesting topic.
Absolutely amazing and inspiring💞
Loved your video. Liked the first one the best as I have a minimalist style
I think what I like best about your channel is that you’re cheerful. I live with three teenagers and in California. I need light and cheery!
Love the mirrors over the nightstands. I would do it with coloured glass pendants. Wow!
Love them all, the first one was my favorite 🤩
You and I have the same eye. People tell me that can't see what I did when I see a piece. Now I feel, not so out there, just ahead of my time 💫 I zeroed in on the pleats on the first one, the bench at the end of the bed, on the second one, the drum table, wavy chair, burlwood stand. I'm going to make one with plywood and burlwood veneer glued to it. 😍 Using the drum table in my living room as a side table, pleated organza and french lace in a geometric pattern over some very heavy charcoal velvet curtains over my French doors in my bedroom. You are teaching me so much!!!!
Restoration hardware is my favorite! Redoing my bedroom on my channel soon so this is helpful!!!!
Oh I love it !!!
Hi Arvin! I love your energy so so fun! I wanted to see if you could do a video where you shop for items that look luxury at ross, tj maxx and home goods and make it look luxurious. I have teenagers that will be decorating soon and I would LOVE your take on this. Luxurious on a budget :) Thank you for always being a light! bright and fun and honest :)
My faves were the Studio McGee bedroom and the last one.
LIVING FOR JEN ATKINS BEDROOM - UGH A DREAM 😻 xx
I love you....so gifted. Glad I found you, again.
I loved the 1st one. Simple, warm, cozy and beautiful. The bare wall over the bed was ok by me. Sometimes the eyes just need to rest.
Tnx for sharing. They are all my favorite except the last one ✌️
I would TOTALLY do the matching mirrors above the nightstands, and with the large art piece over the bed!
I loveee anything Athena styles. It is all so unique and looks high end!
But I am so in love with Maison Trouvaille’s style lately. It has the perfect modern minimalistic vibe with a touch of the right lived in textures. Definitely my top 2 right now! I personally think Jen’s bedroom is perfect without anything on the wall, it’s all so serene.
I totally agree! Lots of inspo to take from
I needed this video. I have a black brown dresser and just bought these small tables to use as a nightstand that are a lighter chocolate brown. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the different wood tones till I saw this video.
Enjoyed all of the marvelous designs, but who knew Arvin that I was so impressed by Athena Calderon placing the smaller art piece on the top of the headboard to the right as brilliantly negating the need for a centered larger art piece. It does not offend balance as it accentuates the minimal decorative design. A must for those like me that rebels against purity in balance.
Yesss it was a gorgeous move !
Dude. I bought a Lily’s silk pillowcase four months ago and I love love love it. Omg.
The first RH bedroom with the huge painting was my fav
I agree & love Lily Silk ❤! I have pillowcases, a black nightgown,& an eye mask! Worth it!
I feel so much more knowledgeable after your videos! You've sold me on silk pillow cases.
We have an awkward bedroom situation with window placements. The mirror with table lamp would be a GREAT solution. Definitely putting that in the memory bank for future use!
I just bought the pillowcase in silk and the mask. Thank you 🙏🏻
Yes Yes Yes to nightstand mirror moment! Love "daybed" bench!
I’m literally trying to find some flax natural bed pieces today!! You’re timing is simply uncanny 😉💁🏼♀️😍
I love it !!!
Love, love, love Lili Silk quality is superb, I have the pijamas in navy and off white trim
pure luxury, expensive but we deserve it right Arvin!😍😍😍😍
I'm getting ready to revamp my bedding. I love all the linen, gauze-y-ness but right now I currently have an Indian quilt with hand-sewn thread detailing that my pup has pulled out here and there. She loves getting on the bed for a little play session at night. At first I tried to stop her but it broke my heart to not let her play so the quilt is looking shabby. I want to try that airy, casual, linen look but something a bit more rugged. I'm on the hunt if you have any ideas! Arvin's videos are quickly becoming my favorite!
Arvin you just tickle me- I’m in love with your flair and style, every video brightens up my day!
We love your channel! ❤️
I’m here for luxurious!!! I have been dying for a Beni rug! I’ve been seeing them on my fav IG accounts and actually did not know what they were so thank you for helping me figure that out!
Arvin your videos are just so well done and edited so nicely. You’ve raised the bar in my opinion, as so many others I watch in your topic space are just not well done and I probably could’ve done it as a complete amateur... IJS 😊
Awww this is too sweet thank you!!
The first RH bedroom is my favorite.
You're a genius, love your styling sense🙌
There were some gorgeous bedrooms in this video but for me I love Studio McGee!! To me Shea can do no wrong. 👍🏼❤️ Arvin you are just the best and the most fun! You always make me smile! ❤️😍❤️
Loooooove the subtle green color you are wearing..
