Instead of plastic Tupperware, use anchor hocking glass with airtight plastic lids. Glass is so easy to clean, doesn’t get toxic, and can be used to bake in as well.

I used to live with my boyfriend that had an amazing penthouse, everything from designers. I was not happy there, because his heart was cold and all he was about was gathering beautiful items. I left him and now I have a house with the sloppy roof, full of children and pets. We're drinking from plastic cups, snuggling with my husband on cheap rugs and now I feel that I'm truly happy and alive.

When ppl say "I love Rae Dunn!" I always think to myself, "why?" It's literally the most unremarkable decor I've ever seen. the obsession with it is strange. The promotion of it should be criminal.
I love the homemade bar soaps! I've gotten them from small business owners. They make all their products sold!😊👍🏻 I love the goats milk ones especially!♥️

I love your videos, Arvin! I absolutely agree with your advice. Especially, the designer bags, designer boxes, or anything with a logo. I went to Michael's and bought some neutral soft fabrics, and made my own reusable, storage bags to protect my purses, hats, and other stuff. Also, my mom gave her her old curtains from over nine years ago (I didn't like them) I went to the fabric store and bought some similar colours. And reused some of that fabric and made decor pillow inserts and even a few other fluffy pillows for my new sofa, the extra pillows I gave those as gifts. And before I end my comment I must say I love your sense of humor and positive energy! Thank you!
Ladies and guys before you start throwing away items remember that donation centers allow fabrics to be donated as long as they are clean. Sometimes other people are looking for that pattern or colour. And remember to add those paper bags, gift bags, and shoe boxes in the recycling bin. Thank you. ❤️

Emily, it is a jail. From the time we marry,raise our kids,entertain the family of both sides,see to husband's stomach, and clean up like it's a restaurant 10 hrs a day for 48 yrs, will be no parole until I'm dead,or they are. I chose that jail,and would do it again.(yea,it is hilarious)😂🥰🥰

Glass containers with snap locking lids. Best thing ever. Goes from the fridge to the microwave to the dishwasher just fine, and no plastic leachate.
Yes I got ones like that from Amazon and they're amazing! They stack so nicely in my cabinets and save room in the fridge too!

Curtains truly are important. When selling my house my real estate agent told me what they thought it was worth. I wanted and needed more. I spent $4000 on a bit of sprucing, including new curtains throughout the house.
When it sold I got $45000 more than the original valuation.
If this was in the past 8 months a big chunk of that eval change is due to the housing bubble too. But curtains definitely take a nice house into elegance
@@MrArtVein Yup! We just bought a house $50k over asking...they're all going 50k+ over asking lol. My parents just had their mind made up that we weren't staying in this current house much longer. Plus, the house met all their expections. We went to many open houses that were a train wreck of a home...even they were scooped up in a few days well over asking.

My favorite tupperware is the Rubbermaid Brilliance line! They come in both plastic and glass!! They are leakproof, do not stain, and are crystal clear (unlike some of the frosted/cheap looking ones). They are the best!

Hi Arvin! Watching this video again before I send it to a friend. I stopped buying Tupperware, began using empty plastic containers and finally started using the Pyrex and French glassware (like Arcoroc) I'd been picking up at thrift stores, et. al. I find they are beautiful, dishwasher safe and help me in my cooking and baking. I'm of an age where my memory is not what it was so I set out all of my ingredients in small ramekins then put them together. Thanks for a great video!

I thought he was funny and fresh when I first watched him but the mockery and lack of tact got old and I am unsubscribing. It is a bit of an embarrassment that he is the only Filipino ( I am half-Filipino myself) CZcams designer and he behaves this way. I watch lots of designers and nobody, NOBODY else comes off as showy, loud, and offensive half of the time. Quite a 180-degree difference fr Nate and Jeremiah for example, who are SO MUCH MORE popular and achieved but none of the hangups. And they do not dress like walking ads for designer brands bc those 2 have style and class!

IKEA glass containers with snap lids are amazing! I’m obsessed with matches and you can’t screw these up! They are easy to open and close and don’t fade or curl like Pyrex after a while. Wonderfully stackable as well. Last, nobody asked but get a lid organizer from Amazon, it changed me! The flat square or rectangle one that has inserts to you can change your own configuration. I reorganized my kitchen with these items and moved from a 36” cabinet to an 18”. My mixing bowls are in there as well. Remember less is best the more you have the more you have to keep track of and clean. I just found your channel today and I’m obsessed. We will be besties soon… 😘

I looked straight up at the only light shining on me - at my kitchen boob light. I will never see it any differently now.
Le labo is literally the best! Their city exclusive smells are great and their scents are very strong but not "im going to get a headache" strong but a nice lingering smell that makes their candles worth burning or their sprays worth using and the scent doesn't vanish half a second after it leaves the bottle. Pricey but worth it and they last very long!

Tupperware suggestion: We switched to Pyrex glass containers with lids for leftovers. You can reheat right in the dish in oven or microwave and they never stain or get those nasty little crevices. 18 pc set from Target is nice- round ones have straight sides and a few rectangular ones. Lids don’t warp in the dishwasher.
Yep...you can get them at TJs/Marshall's/HomeGoods. There are even some European brands sold there as well.

I have Corelle, so for leftovers, I just put it in a bowl and cover with a plate. They are a perfect fit. I can stack them that way too.

I don’t know if I’ll get rid of my Bath & Bodyworks anytime soon LOL but especially with the candles -you can actually remove the labels and just display them with the glass and it’s way more aesthetically pleasing! :)

Totally keep the items of you like them. The hand soaps, I pour them into glass dispensers and get dispose of the bottles they came in. Personally I like thr soaps from Marshall's/ Home Goods.

Glass really is best, but I have butter fingers! I use Snapware. Never nuke plastic containers, and let food cool before putting in plastic. And here’s a hint: if storing a red or other colored food, spray with non-stick spray, and your container won’t stain.

Tupperware is an actual brand. I notice A lot of people use the word “Tupperware” as a general for all containers.

I think there is a word for this phenomenon, it’s the same thing with Kleenex. It’s called tissue paper, but people call them Kleenex.
