- Every critical hit heals. Combine that with crazy fast attack speed and 60% critical chance and we have something great. I make it through the first three dungeons with basically full health. I find all the right items without finding an actual set. Most rooms and bosses pose little threat to me. I need a run like this with a good set. All it takes is one bad room. Dungreed gameplay with my commentary as always!

the altar person gives you the "aegis" option and when you use it you lose alk the levels, gain +1 max level and some permament boosts

@@chadnt8099 Meh, its pretty worth it when you get to max and get a free 5 point level ability
It's VERY worth it, not hard to get back to max level and those 5 stat points really help

@@killermlg5360 I personally think the 5 extra stat points are great, the stats you get from aegis are 5 power, 5 defense, 5 evasion, 5 crit, 20% gold (doesn't really matter) and 30 HP. Personally, I'm not a fan of max health, but it doesn't hurt. My point is, none of the stats you get change much, it's minimal difference. With 5 extra stat points on the other hand, you could put those into quite a bit. To me, it just adds so much more you can do with your build.

Why take damage when you can go for the most evasion possible
Because evasion softcaps at 40% and damage doesen't
Toughness is better it can make rooms easy

The food store spawns only when going into a room on the same level of the map. It wont spawn in a room that goes up or down. Always try to go straight to try to find the food before you go down or up.

Zweihander (Actually it's "Zweihänder, but you inglandos don't have an "ä" soooo...) is a german term for "Two-handed Sword" and pronounced TSWAYE-hen-dah (the "Ts" from Tsunami, the "aye" from "Aye-aye Captain" with a "w" in front, "hen" like multiple chicken and with AH i mean the screaming when falling of a cliff with a "d" in front of it, as one fluid word while stressing the first syllable)
I hope it's somewhat understandable, explaining pronounciation is hard if you forgot the phonetic alphabet, but i did my best xD

If you pray at the alter at max lvl you can reset your lvl and gain permanent stats or extra skill points.
I have 2 tips for the grassland,
1) The homing missiles like arrows and ice crystals can actually be destroyed if you hit them with the sword but they explode so don’t destroy them too close
2) The wyvern’s projectiles will head in a straight line towards you after they spawn so you can dash away from them and where you were once they start moving. You can avoid most damage that way unless you move into another enemy

You Are getting good Dodging
You can destroy some projectiles with melee attacks. It's especially helpful on 9th floor against guys, that shoot missiles at you. I don't know how it works with slow and powerful weapon, but it's easy with Muramasa. On, and on 11th floot try to kill everything as fast, as you can. Guys with purple aura are wild, and archers are strange. Good luck with completing the game, bro.
Gratz on the 666k subs
The Bamboo spear actually turned out to be pretty useful for me. When its fully charged (dont hit anything with it) you can dash for about 50-60 dmg. Once you hit something with it, the power resets to zero but pretty quicky builds back up to 200%. I had 5 dash at the time so I would enter a room with it equipped and could quickly clear it out if the new room had a bunch of enemies near the entrance.
Can't wait till he gets to trials, even more grinding for him and countless attempts on them :)
Here are a few tips though
First, you should probably get aegis, it resets your level but gives you more skill points, you can do this 5 times which is enough for a whole new ability. This is hella worth it.
Second, focus on defense and evasion a bit more than max health, max health is good and all, but it's better to take way less damage than to have more health since healing is better with less health.
Thirdly, I would use the Ikina Bear costume with your katana along with super-fast attack speed and high crit chance/ damage. Its ability is actually op, and charges fast with the katana.
Fourthly and finally, with the fourth-floor boss you died on, when it goes red, you can't hurt it, it will block all attacks. While it does that, you should back off and focus on dodging. I actually find that boss, in particular, easier to do with just ranged weapons. It's actually a pretty easy boss to dodge once you get the hang of it but can dish out tonnes of damage when it does hit you.
*EDIT:* One more thing, do every single room regardless. You'll get more gold, lose a bit of satiety, and, depending on your items and luck, get more health out of it.
FINALLY SOME GOOD FUCKING CONTENT
you can slice arrows, ice projectiles and rockets with most melee weapons (could be some other projectiles but i have only gotten to the 11th floor)

The shops tend to be on the horizontal from the starting point. If you don't see it in 2 to 4 rooms back up and decend or go up vertically 1 section then try again.

You can restart runs from quiting from the town instead of going into the dungeons then leaving. It saves alot of time. You will still keep your saved item from the mystic skill tree.
Finally he found the best item ingame.

10:00 That dragon actually cant see you if youre in the entrance as long as you dont hit it. You couldve use your boomerang to try and kill the other 2 enemies before dealing with him. I dont know its exact aggro range since I just came back to the game myself but it seems to be somewhat small (like a half screen wide or high depending where he is I believe) and its useful to know that because it helps in many other rooms too
Those ice things in the ice boss count towards the blood ring
Blood of sobrero is probably the best item in this game. It makes cleaning rooms a breeze with how much it heals and gives some extra durability against bosses.
You could spec into the greed skill tree, that way youll get +20 hp and +25 satiety so you’ll be able to eat more
Anyone know that game where you play as an undead, I think. And eat meals from enemy parts to get abilities?
This was already said on one of your videos, but you should try to put all your skill points into defense because you can start with taking way less damage and if you get under 30% hp you will regenerate health, also if you build your defense up you can can get it up to max of 75% less damage from attacks and that bassicaly makes you very difficult to kill, you wont be able to keep your items after death but it allowed me to win the game. I beat the 14f boss today :D

Food Shop is allways withing 3 Rooms of the starting room and it only has entrances to the left and/or right , hope that helps finding it more quickly
A tip, THE RED PICKAXE IS AMAZING AND YOU SHOULD ALWAYS USE IT AGHHHH, you used it once and almost immediately put it down without exploring it, the stats on it don't look great but it is, the hitbox for it is way bigger than what it looks like and lategame with some attackspeed ups and the such its is the greatest thing, AND IT DESTROYS SOME PROJECTILES :D it with any attackspeed accessories is amazing, went from floor 1-13 using pretty much only pickaxe pretty easily also the heal on crit legendary item (its like a goblet of blood) is the most useful item in teh game period, you will never die with it equipped if you play with atleast some brains
oh and bearsuit guy that gives you the rage bar is a great character to use for your current build, the attackspeed boost is fantastic

At first I wasn’t liking this series so much but now I am loving it and the grinding is going to be amazing.
So, if you equip stuff that lowers max hp before taking any fixed amount of healing, it becomes more of your health bar percentage wise, so when you unequip it you get some more health. Just leaving that here in case it helps.

When you get dash attack items, you should try to dash and attack with it. It'll most likely be more damage.
If you go to the shrine in the town and choose bless, you will revert back to level 1 but you get an additional skill point

During this video he was doing (and repeating) one mistake which was to try and avoid homming rockets instead to just destroy them with his Muramasa and make 3rd stage a lot easier XD
You can unlock a crazy good character via killing enough enemies with the spatula weapon. Has a regenerating shield, basically the easiest character to do your first clear of the dungeon on.
Also the food shop is always nearby the entry point to the floor on a flat bit. Takes a bit of practice but you can usually find it in the first four rooms that way.
Use the damn special attacks of weapons
Dude, he uses them. It's on cooldown most of the time.

You may want to try the skill tree that increases defense. The level 20 perk that heals you and increases defense when low shouldn't be under estimated. I've had great luck stacking defense, toughness and evasion.
I recommend ditching the Muramasa and use whatever weapon you can find, and spend your skill points on the Movement tree for that invinsibility frames while dogding

DF talk to some of the townsfolk in the main area. they have quests and task for you... Such as the old man giving Trials.
Can also offer more services such as the Altar person giving you plus 1 max level but resets you level.
