- Restoring a model 520 John Deere pedal tractor. Pretty basic restoration, as I had a solid base to work from; most of the work was disassembly and sanding.
Parts purchased from dakotahtoyparts.com, pedaltractorparts.com and some miscellaneous parts from Tractor Supply.

I got my lil brothers one from the 90's, beat up but not even close to condition you started with. Great job. I'm gonna give ours a sweet rat tractor inspired one. Make it look rusty, detail the engine.

If you redo another Deere try John Deeres yellow sandable primer and the green Emerson paint all in rattle cans you won't believe the difference
I have mine when I was a kid my wheel just spins and doesn't grab. The peddles work though
The rectangular slot is probably worn out in the wheel

Where did you find those rear axle bearings? I cant find them on any site in this size

What year is your pedal tractor I have the same one that I'm going to restore
This one would be mid 70's. The same casting was used from the 70's to the 90's, but the decals were different to represent the full-sized tractors of the era.
I need to restore an old Farmall tractor. Where would I find new tires?

This was around $200 for the parts and paint, one of the biggest cost factors was that I bought new metal wheels/tires

If it’s a John Deere there’s a number on bottom right hand side look that number up online or go to John Deere place and they will order it
