Constructing the Emperor of Mankind version 2 0

Here we are again with a long overdue video. In this short instalment I am going to be talking about the early stages of my newest diorama project.
This new diorama is focused around the 30k version of the Emperor whilst at the height of his power.
I discuss a little bit about the inspiration behind this project along with what I have built so far.
I am really excited to be working on this new project based in the 30k era of the Imperium of Man and to construct the Emperor of Mankind in miniature form (once again).
This is going to be quite a lengthy and ambitious project so stay tuned to see wether I am up to the task!

@@imperiumnihilus thanks mate I love painting but boy oh boy with big models it takes forever, have you got a plan for the Emperor yet? 3rd party or something?
I know right 😂. I think the plan is to work on the Golden throne and Throne room first to give me a bit of thinking time to decide how I want to create the Emperor.
However long it takes I'll keep watching to see the progress as something of this scale is unreal to watch. With all your experience with greenstuff and using the rollmaker what do you use to keep the greenstuff from adhering to the tool? I've had mixed results with mine and wondered if there was anything I might have overlooked.
Thanks for watching 🙂. I tend to use a bit of water when using the Greenstuff roller though it’s not a perfect method. Occasionally some pieces might stick but I just use a bit more water and re-roll them. As with a lot of my work it’s very trial and error.
You can also let the Greenstuff cure for a little bit so it’s not as tacky.
