  • This is a short video on how to dismantle and winterize a Summer Waves Elite 14 ft above ground pool.
    Steps on how to fold it: Fold the wall part of the material in on all sides, then with two people, pull one side of the pool over to meet the other side. From here, keep folding in half until you have a long strip, about 3-4 feet wide. Roll or fold this up into a manageable size.

    I took the pool all down myself and I'm a grama pushing 60.. What almost broke me was getting those poles out of the T joints..where the liner suctions on to the pipe,it's really hard to unstick the liner so you can pull the pipe out.. what works really good is getting a long thin pole..like a round curtain rod or something, (don't get anything that will rip a hole in liner)sticking the thin pole between the liner and pipe section.. and roll it around the pipe ..it totally unsticks the liner,and you can pull the pole right out very easy. I took all the legs down first.. then did the pipe,liner part. Worked great.

    Douse the horizontal bars with baby powder when you set it up in the spring and the pool won't stick to the metal. It makes taking down so much easier.

      @PovertyPointCustoms  Před 4 lety +1

      Lower the water level in your pool until it is about 6" (15 cm) below the skimmer opening. You may plug the return jet hole at this time. ** IMPORTANT ** DO NOT PLUG THE SKIMMER DRAIN HOLE (located at the base of the skimmer). Remove all hoses attached to the skimmer and return fittings. This type of pool though should be taken down in the winter, they are not meant to be up and have the water freeze in them.
