Some of the trash (vehicles included) are from the military dumping in the ocean. I was on the Makee with my older son & saw bags & bags dumped overboard. This has gone on for generation so the needless trash dumping goes on with everyone doing it because their grandparents did it. Now is the time to stop the cycle & you have put the point across so please keep doing what you are doing & get more people involved.

I'm ready for you to get home to Sydney where the water is crystal clear and the sea floor is sandy. Those Swiss lakes are pretty murky. I love going with you on your adventures - but, with my headset on the pinging of the pinpointer is annoying as hell when you hold it in your hand against the object you found until you narrow down it's location in your palm. I can't wait for the next new adventure!

Yup, that is a brass alloy coin but still, it looks to be about 1700-1800ish by the design of the bust. Gold coins look like they were minted yesterday, regardless of age - when you find one, you will see the difference :-)

That gold coin has got my mind reeling now. What, where and why in the world 🤔 Honestly, that area was cleaner than many of my local waterways 🤷 though the three tins close together bothered me👎
Congrats on finding more rings, hopefully there are makers marks in the two older silver rings and you'll be able to track down the jewelry maker who made them 👍☺ that could give you a leg up on finding the owners.

Many of those 9.25 rings with tribal and viking type markings are flea market silver rings byem loosem buyem again the owners aint looking for those unless they are personalized clean up and sell
