Accepting that Greg is rhe recruitment guy,surely the manager has the final say on which players are actually brought in,if this isn't the case then there is someone fundamentally wrong in the club.

Simmo, I'm sure Sam Lavelle is a nice guy with his head screwed on proper. He must be resilient to have dealt with all the stick this season and so fair play to him. Problem is... that stick has been entirely justified and more. He shouldn't just be looking for a new club as of today, he should be looking for a new job. We know our football here, don't forget that.
And you are giving him stick now. No wonder our players get worried in case someone passes the ball to them. Like them or loath them they are our players get behind the team .

Lavelle's not the only one. Backed the team till the end this season but now is the time for honest truths, not blind ignorance.
Not accusing andrew here but some fans really have goldfish memory. Simmo got us promoted twice. He’s the reason we’re not in national league. We had massive injury lists and a difficult summer budget and only got new money in November. We came up too early, but I think we’ll be a yoyo club for a larl bit and that’s honestly fine. We will get to league one and stay there eventually. We just need to be patient
People need to stop thinking what Paul Simpson has done yes he saved us but this season he’s sank us, yes people say we are not good enough for league one blah blah he’s the manager he picks the team week in week out he trains them. He’s under pressure before the new season has even started because I will say this now if he starts badly in league 2 everyone will be calling for him to be sacked

Simpson left us for Preston showed no loyalty there doesn't fair enough he did get us promoted but football doesn't work like thst anywhere else he would a been sacked ages ago

Fair enough simpson got us promotion but any other club would a sacked him ages ago showed no loyalty to the club when he went to Preston
